Hi.. Saya Tehtarikoppa.. u guys need to collab.. and explore the culture outside Kuala Lumpur.. you are still at the bottom of Malaysia if u dont go over other states.
I think Malaysian start their morning early because working at a private company usually starts at 9 or 10 while the government worker starts work at 8, the school also starts early at 7.30. since Malaysians are Muslim majority, they usually wake up early to perform subuh prayer and start hungry at that time, hihi even in college, class start at 8 and I was soo hungry if I'm not taking breakfast before class start.
@@edjoseph1427 yesss they spend their time with their family on weekend so they usually go to buy breakfast, make a take away for their children at home or go for breakfast together.
We usually eat nasi goreng/nasi lemak/roti canai/mee goreng/bihun goreng/koey teow goreng/roti bakar aka kaya toast etc as our breakfast but you should try all type of roti canai like roti canai pisang, roti tampal, roti sardin, roti bawang etc.
No matter how good the Roti Canai might be, I'll never line-up 30 mins for it lol I'm a simple person - roti canai is still roti canai no matter which Mamak u go to haha
No no bro. You really can taste between good or not so good version of either the roti and the sauce (dal or curry). If its a good version, 30mins que is worth it bro. 😋
6:42 Those are not raw eggs, those are literally translated to half-cooked eggs ('telur separuh masak'). I would not recommend eating raw eggs even though some people swear by it and some recipe uses raw eggs e.g. mayonaise. Half-cooked eggs are very yummy and go really well with toast although it can be nauseating if you consume too much of it.
im glad that malaysia got different races and culture and of course the foodsssss. I can eat different kind of food everyday in a week and will not get bored.
Nice vid 😘🤗 the curry that they serve usually have sambal because some people like more spicy. So people can mix the curry dhal with sambal. And we usually dont drink cold teh tarik in early morning. Hahahha
If u go to some part of malaysia like perlis. U can find 24 hours breakfast menu almost everywhere. And if u go to mamak. Most breakfast menu is 24hours except nasi lemak. 🍽️
One of the reason, allmost all malaysian are muslim. We need to wakeup early atleast 6.40am to pray. So instead of getting sleep back, we can go out to find something to eat.
I read both the English and Malay subtitle but more often the former. Unfortunately some parts of the subtitle seem to not tally and completely different compared to the other.
Can suggest to u all? Try seaching about Nasi dagang, nasi kerabu, nasi lemak+any dishes, laksam for breakfast menu. Its too popular in malaysia. For roti canai, better try eat roti sardin(tuna)..another menu for roti is tosai @ capati..
You guys are most welcomed to Alor Setar, Kedah. Northern part of Malaysia. It is a heaven for breakfast! Cheap and delicious local authentic breakfast!
U can try make half boiled egg at korean also....just need to make sure the heating of water is ok for boiled the egg and also the timing, for more detail just search the recipe at the google....
Hi Blimey, I really love your video. I have subscribed and liked all your video. I really happy when you make a video about Malaysia. I'm really grateful. Thank you Blimey. I will always support you from bottom of my heart. Saranghae💕
Hi blimey. Please do a challenge in Malaysia 😭 like your previous video, wearing black lipstick in korea😂 I love when you do something funny. Or you can try to do 1. Social experiment 2. Wearing hijab in korea 3. Asking people using english, and then suddenly speak Bahasa Melayu😂 people must be surprised. 4. Meet blimey's fan and have a date like playing game at Cybercafe or etc. Btw, I miss jade with black hair. Love you Blimey💕
One other way to eat the half boiled egg is to season with kicap and salt (your choice), stirred it and slurp it in one go. Best roti canai I ever head is at Kampung Taman Sedia in Cameroon Highland just a walk away from the Tiny Boutique Habitat(best magharita pizza I ever had is here) and you should also try Roti Goyang which is toast with half boiled egg on top, best I ever had is at New Hollywood in Ipoh.
Throughout my university years, I skipped classes just to eat - especially breakfast. Some of my lecturers even joined me or laugh it off because of my peculiarity on that particular subject hahaha
You Should go to Ipoh...its Popular for Tourist especially Pekan Ipoh You should go there highly recommend...you should to Plan B as well ...its in the area I will comment this until you all came here vid 2
Wahh blimey..i feel bad when tourist promoting our country right now because some malaysian does not respect and love their own country 😐 but all i can say is don't work too hard okay 💖
Roti canai taste better if you eat it bare hand also..as for toast maybe in future you can try roasted toast bake using charcoal, hot black coffee and half boil egg
Aaaaa you would go crazy if there is kuah kacang dhal🤤 Ain't that half cooked egg? I dont think thats raw egg hehe. Btw, you should try roti telur goyang usually at Kopitiam.
As your early subscribers before you decide so about malaysia in a cafe. I would like suggest you make Mark wein Chasing a plate Channel and your guide source. It more of Malaysian food yet blimey didn't discoverr yet. I'll concluded blimey just discover 13% foodies in entire Malaysia. Go kelantan Go terenganu Go Pahang
We Malaysian drink teh tarik without ice because the taste are much better and you can see the foam at the top of the tea. If you put ice there are not call teh tarik, it's call teh ais or ice tea. The mean of teh tarik translate to english are pulling tea. Next time try teh tarik without ice and you will taste the different.
Kalian minum teh tarik~~~~
Malaysia No.1 = teh ice in plastic bag with straw 🤣 for me
nice choice👍👍👍

Blimey roti canai challenge!!
Hyegang actually was the real main character in this series right 😬👌🏼
Ms. Yerim, can you make a personal vlog too? I hope you can.

Oh I see~!! Actually same here in Korea, but Korean wake up late at the weekend lol. We were surprised in this video cause it was Sunday!! XD
Hahaha. Malaysian always eager for their food! Weekend or weekdays always the same
@@edjoseph1427 yesss they spend their time with their family on weekend so they usually go to buy breakfast, make a take away for their children at home or go for breakfast together.
@@Blimeywow If you were in Johor Bahru, Sunday is working day there ^^
@@Blimeywow n one more.. Kelantan ,Terengganu,Kedah and Johor weekend is on Friday and saturday, other than that , its saturday n sunday like usual.
Which one do you guys prefer? Roti canai vs Kaya Toast!!
or are there any other breakfast menus to recommend~?
Canai
Blimey kaya toast
nasi lemak , nasi dagang
you should try to dip roti canai in a condensed milk , its sooo goood !! 너무 마시다 !!
We usually eat nasi goreng/nasi lemak/roti canai/mee goreng/bihun goreng/koey teow goreng/roti bakar aka kaya toast etc as our breakfast but you should try all type of roti canai like roti canai pisang, roti tampal, roti sardin, roti bawang etc.
In Malaysia there no such breakfast or lunch food. U can eat it even at dinner and no one will think its weird.
@Panglima Hitam restoran mamak lh selalu nya bila lapar kul 1,3 pagi
Yes, we are very diligent when it comes to food 😂😂😂
And its not raw egg! Its half boiled egg 😂😂😂😂
In malaysia...wake up 8 am is late hahaha
Wow....!
True that..
Haha.. so true
So true! 😂😂😂 even my mom will nagging to wake up
yeah its true. for surely for girl who's woke up at that time will label as lazy girl. its not nice for a girl to woke up at that time
I am surprise & glad they didnt ask why the cook didnt use hand glove. 😂
finally someone said it
suddenlysunday no she doesn’t. She was just surprised that he can stand touching hot food
i know it may put off some of you but it's pretty common here so nobody cares that much. Heck even I can't stand it sometimes.
Uniequorn Priv just imagine what the roti canai's taste if the cook use hand glove. 😂😂😂
@@metalbasher820 the taste of plastik glove melt down in the roti..🤣🤣🤣
Malaysian breakfast is so versatile that you can eat the same menu for lunch😂
and dinner too.
Cause food is food no matter what time it is👍
@Brsafrizal 246 oI Oi OI!!¡!
@Brsafrizal 246 YoUrE ThE oNe
For 24 hours🤣🤣😂😂
"adik korea" is so sweet like her's "akak korea"
Hyegang so pretty and cute especially when she smile
Most people wake up around 6 for morning prayer and go have breakfast after that which is around 7am
I miss Jade. Also Hyegang cheeks are so fluffy they are like a couple of Pao buns..😍
I love Roti canai so much! i can eat 5 pieces per serving and i prefer "Roti banjir" which Roti kosong flooded with curry or dhal gravy with sambal 😋
Anticipating next episode!!! Cendol, ais kacang & rojak buah!!!
No matter how good the Roti Canai might be, I'll never line-up 30 mins for it lol
I'm a simple person - roti canai is still roti canai no matter which Mamak u go to haha
Haha true :) We didn't expect that we would be waiting for more than 30 min lol
No no bro. You really can taste between good or not so good version of either the roti and the sauce (dal or curry). If its a good version, 30mins que is worth it bro. 😋
@@Berzaman whatever man... I'm tallking about myself. I don't talk for other people
Ok bro noted. All the best 👍
I guess this particular stall is the one that uses charcoal fire..not gas stove
I dont think that is a raw egg , its half boiled egg 😂
Blimey, who made the malay subtitles ? its so accurate with kl slang. Daebak!
Our friend did :) I will tell her this!
There's missed accuracy here and there tho.. And more like direct translation from the English subs..
Teh tarik with ice are just "teh ais"
Yup. Hahah. Teh ais.. teh tarik is hot
When you going back to Korea, you gonna gain some weight. 😂😂
Most of Malaysians feel annoying to choose a breakfast because it is too many choices! So, keep exercises or else gain obesity. XD
Some of the Malaysian with tight budget, breakfast nasi lemak, lunch nasi lemak, dinner nasi lemak,
yerim can become a tourist guide and should open a travel agency with blimey
Lawak Jugak Adik Yerim Ni...Hahahaaha,,,(Cepatlah Kalau Tak Saya Buat Kecohh,,,)
Your editing has gotten a lot better. Love the dual subtitle .. Xoxo
It is not raw egg but half-cooked egg
My favourite roti canai criteria
1) CRISPY
2) COOKED all the way inside the dough
3) Dhal sauce with sambal
Who translated the subs in bahasa malaysia? The translations are getting better. It sounds more casual. Good job blimey💕
Our Malaysian friend did!! :)
6:30 it's half boiled egg girl😊 not raw egg
pst pst soft boiled
Ministers of tourism should sponsor them ! They did a great job on promoting Malaysia beautiful places and the most fascinating, FOOD!!😻😻😻
