This performance is from the ONE:E online concert during COVID. They perform some songs in sub units, this is the vocal line (4 vocalists, Jin, V, Jk and Jimin). You will see others done by the Rap Line (RM, Suga, J-Hope). Beautiful song. 🫶🏻💜
You get an A+. You just witnessed the subunit known as The Vocal Line. Yes, Jung Kook, Jin, Jimin and V. For some songs, only the vocal line performs. Other songs, only the Rap Line (RM, Suga and J-Hope) perform. Then there is a Dance Line known as 3J (J-Hope, Jimin and Jung Kook). V is now in the Dance Line too but 3J still sometimes performs together. Then other times you get unusual subunits. Example, J-Hope, Jin and Jung Kook performed a song called Jamais Vu together. It's one of my favorites. There have been numerous pairings or trios with the various members over the years. So, although they are a group of 7, they keep things fresh by changing things up. Also, in live concerts, that allows some of them to have a breather while others perform, as their concerts are 2-3 hours long.
That On:E concert that Zero O'Clock was part of was during pandemic; you didn't see any audience with this song you just watched for that reason.

Yeah !!!!! You recognized them perfectly : Jungkook - Jin - Jimin - V = the vocal line. That was a pure vocal-line song. The rap-line is RM - Suga - J-jope. A lot of songs include them all mixing singing and rapping. Then you have only vocal-line songs like this song. Then you have rap-line songs., Then solo songs ! That is all about BTS versatility !!!
Vocal line song. They sometimes breakup into units for certain songs. This song was still written by RM, their most prominent writer and he writes a lot of the songs including the vocal line songs. The vocal line has expressed he writes for them better than anyone.

Sometimes they do what we call "units", in certain songs only the rappers sing as we saw in "UGH!" and in others they only sing the vocal line, which you're right, were Jin, Jimin, V and Jungkook... but sometimes they can form "units" mixing some as duets.
BTS has songs that are just the vocal line or rapline. You will see several songs like that in their discography. It also helps in concerts to give them time to rest.

but in principle you are right there are songs only with the vocal line and songs only with the rap line and this in most of the group's albums
BTS has such a bond. This song is very beautiful. And as you probably already know sometimes the vocal line will do a song and sometimes the rap line will do a song but mostly they do songs together

You will often see what we call "sub-unit songs" where 2 or more members sing a song together, rather than all seven. They often divide by "vocal line" and "rap line" as sub-units (which is what they did for this song - vocal line only..."The Truth Untold" or "House of Cards" are two other vocal liine only songs...also the live performance of "Butterfly" at the Yet to Come in Busan concert in October 2022 was vocal line only (although that song was originally a song with all seven members, so there are older live performances with all seven, too).
They do all sorts of variations on the "sub-unit" concept. On the Map of the Soul: 7 album, for instance, there are songs with V/Jimin ("Friends"), RM/SUGA ("Respect"), Jin, j-hope and Jung Kook ("Jamais Vu"), as well as rapline song ("Ugh!," which you didn't like) and this song "00:00 (Zero O'Clock)." They also all have had solo songs on several albums, for many years. It's one of the things that BTS does that I really appreciate - not only do they change it up with music genres, they also change it up with these varying combinations of members from song to song. It really keeps things fresh and interesting. Since the pandemic, really, they have mostly focused on full group songs in concerts and performances (except for "Ugh!"/"Cypher Pt. 3: Killer" and "Butterfuly/Zero O-Clock" for the Busan concert. I think they did that (mainly for the Permission to Dance concerts) because they were highly aware that Jin was leaving for the military and that would officially signify the start of their "solo careers" - a.k.a. Chapter 2 - so they wanted to mostly do group things when in front of ARMY.
There's only 4 because it's a vocal line song, just like when you reacted to outro tear was a rapline song. Often there will be vocal line or rapline songs. You named them correctly as well, well done. 💜
This is a song that helps me through dark times. My husband of 30 years passed away Jan 1 2022 and if it weren't for these boys idk where I'd be right now.

As with everyone they found me just when I needed them the most (5 years ago just before I lost 4 family members), and they've steadily helped with every issue I've had, including the death of my husband most recently. There are a few songs that I absolutely adore by the vocal line. Zero o'clock, and A TRUTH UNTOLD and HOUSE OF CARDS is another. They are often very emotional songs as all the vocal line excel at telling a story with emotion.

During BTS's concerts, they have Group songs, unit songs, solo songs, vocal line songs, and rap line songs. This was definitely a vocal line song. And it was held during the pandemic, streamed online, with no audience. JIMIN seemed very emotional in this song. I love the song, it's beautiful, and inspirational. The Rap Line song in this concert was UGH!, and they have unit songs, and every member got a solo song. Their Map of the Soul: 7 album was 19 songs. the solo songs were Intro: Persona (RM), Interlude: Shadow (SUGA), Outro: EGO (J-Hope), My Time (Jungkook), Filter (JIMIN), MOON (JIN), and Inner Child (V). Unit songs were Friends (JIMIN and V), Respect (RM and SUGA), and Jamais Vu (J-Hope, Jungkook, and JIN) Then they had numerous Group songs.
You got them all right!! There is what the Group Calls ( The Vocal line ) Jin,Jimin,Jungkook and V, then there is ( The Rapline ) RM, Suga and JHope. Zero o’clock is a song preformed by the 4 vocalists. This is the vocal sub-unit. Some songs are performed by the rapper sub-unit.

Sir , these four are BTS Vocal Line members, they have songs sung by vocal lines only and songs sung by rap line only, they do also have songs sung by trio ,duo or by four members mixed both vocal and rapper member of BTS
You got the 4 correct, way to go 😊 This is the vocal line. The 3 missing are the 3 rappers (the rap line). BTS often do sub unit songs and solos within their own albums. Common ones are the rap line and the vocal line, but they also do ones with just 2 members, like RM and V in 4 O'Clock, RM and Suga in Respect etc.
The meaning nehind this song is that no matter what has happened in the day, at midnight (00:00) the worl'd takes a breath and a new day begins. This new day you can try afresh to work on the problem of the day before, and this time it will be better and you can be happy. I think it was RM who thought of the concept when he couldn't sleep and saw the clock change to 00:00, correct me if i am wrong, ARMY.
I absolutely love the vocal line. At concerts, there is usually a number or two from the vocal line, and the same for the rap line. Something's not quite right in this recording, there's a better one called zero o clock stage mix.

BTS don't do everything all together be on stage for a concerts they also break down into their Sub unit's eg the 4 vocalist and the 3 Rappers. That also gives them space to breath, change clothes, drink water, etc. within their albums you find the same thing happening along with main group songs they'll be the vocalists only song and/or a Rappers's together only song. Plus you'll find solo Songs and solo Raps. So this is quite normal it gives every member a time to shine as individual soloist and it give the 4 vocalist's time to shine as vocal only group. The same goes for the Rappers. Their concert and 2-3hours in length so they have to pace themselves between just sing/rapping and sing, rapping and dancing. I hope that helps.

This song is so comforting especially when you're having a really challenging day. I try to stay positive and just say I can't change yesterday, tomorrow is a brand new day, let's see how the day goes. I love the lyrics, their vocals, harmony, and emotional visuals (look at Jimin) just calms my mind.

Beautiful, beautiful song. This is the vocal line: Jin, Jungkkok, Jimin, V. The rapine is: RM, SUGA, J-hope. J-hope is also a sub-vocalist for the vocal line. They do sub-unit songs- gives the other part of the band a rest and to get ready for a rap-line/vocal-line performance. They do it all - sing all together and then do sub-until and/or solo performances.

I think 00:00 (Zero o'clock) lyrics meant the ending of yesterday and starting of a new day which hopefully we would feel happier and forget about our sadness and the speed bumps(obstacles) we had encountered yesterday.

the sound on the ON:E concert is a little off because of the delay or backing track not sure what, but it sounds double and you can see the members having issues all the way through. not only on this song but the others too and it was a shame

An interesting tidbit: the lyrics Jimin sings about “forgetting familiar lyrics” is something that actually happened to RM at an early audition with another agency. He probably felt pretty awful that entire day. However, that opened a door for him to get THE audition that got him into BigHit and led to BTS. I absolutely love this song. It’s my favorite vocal line song, followed closely by The Truth Untold.

You should watch Cypher 1, 2, 3 & 4. Rap never used to be something I'd listen to until BTS and it's because of the lyrics.
You really should react to their really popular songs such as Butter, On, Dynamite, Mic Drop, etc. Don’t get me wrong everything is great but also try to choose the official MV and then the live performance

I've also noticed when a member does a solo song they use the backup dancers, not BTS members for the dance. I assume it's to give other members a break during a concert. Their concerts are amazing shows. Sometimes the 3 rappers may do a number without the singers. I think they have learned to pace themselves now with their concerts. There's been times they went too hard and was passing out behind stage. They have it well planned out now i think

So I'm sure people thank you for im sure armies have informed you about their different lines as I'm sure you know by now the 4 you see are the vocal line they are the vocalists of the group. And the ones missing are the rap line I'm sure someone has informed you of sub units where those songs feature only 2-3 members. But There is also 2 more lines called the dance line which is jimin Jhope Jungkook and v and the last one is called J3 that consists of the three best dancers Jhope jimin and jungkook

BTS have subunits, this one is the vocal line and you were correct about the members. Another subunit is SOPE which JHope and Suga when they do OTSUKARE.
What I think you would enjoy is the MMA 2019 or 2018 awards show. It will give you a range of what they can do. I think you will love those shows.
