I think V survived because Alice wasn’t there to put her core in the freezer. I like that theory, the previous Disassemblers were kept in check by heat, but V could just keep respawning until the dinos get torn apart. Still not sure why the red one decided to help though.
15:16 Fun fact! Here it is likely that the Solver made Uzi hallucinate for a brief moment to mess with her, this is supported by the split second where, just before Solver uses holograms to turn into N right when Uzi strikes it with a pickaxe, you can see the words "Pranked" and ":3" on the chest of Cyn.
7:00 I think what the show is implying especially with the fight dialogue with J and V is that J always knew but has ALWAYS been too scared to challenge her and being intimidated and horrified into submission and servitude, the only thing keeping her sane being the thought that cyn would spare the 3 of them if she went along....doesn't mean I think it's silly and I am VERYY VERY VERYYYYY salty that J doesn't get her girlboss moment
A line by J that I can't believe that it wasn't mentioned in this video is "You know there's no escaping (it), even in death!". I think there is a fair chance she tried to fight the Solver, or at least escape it, at some point ending in her dying repeatedly, but still maintaining her memories from those times to make her understand just how futile it is to resist. I also wonder if there is always just one J active at any given time, meaning that the J we see arrive with "Tessa", only activated after the one on Copper 9 was nuked. I really hope we get to see more of this, or at hear it mentioned/explained.
@@kevinseddon491 it was already explained, the Solver said it themselves "Your backups will forgive me" "this is why I wanted your team to maintain their personalities" N's squad is simply lucky they can remember anything, because N is just entertaining, that's the only reason they remember anything
I don’t think it’s rushed (especially since it’s been in the works for a year), since the series has always been very fast-paced every episode and I enjoy that aspect of it.
You're not the only one, I had to watch the episode twice to understand what happened there, that's how the whole damn series is, I like the detail that Uzi's hand obviously had to burn too.
Yeah the Solver is pretty much a vampire-zombie cyber lovecraftian archetype, so it burns in the sun, and the only way to kill it is by destroying the heart completely
Solver forms are 4 dimensional. Because how else could cyn become a giant centipede monster and THEN fit inside of tessa? They just rotate along the 4th axis to present a different form. So uzi is now both a normal worker drone and a fifty meter long centipede monstrosity at the same time.
I just wanted to comment on J. I feel she was just delt a bad hand. She was in the belly of the beast with no way out. We don't know what the solver did to her memories, and even if they were intact, it's not like she could rebel. If she did rebel, then the solver could just possess her, and when she thought the solver would win, she would be left as a rebel to the solver, and pushed for doing so. She lives a pretty screwed up existence, and that one line that not even death can be an escape I feel shows that she's not happy working for the solver. She's saying that not even death can be a rest for her, and she'll always be under the thumb of the solver, so rebeling would be futile. It's not how I'd like J to be handled, I would much rather have her join in and fight for the death of Tessa, but this is a pretty logical outcome for J.
I say that if there were a character I would relate to J, it would be starscream from transformers, they both can be backstabbers and suck ups, but when they are serving another, it's out of fear and cowardice, so while you can feel frustration with them and feel glad with the consequences of their actions, you shouldn't deny that they might not see another choice in their situation
@@anastasia_852 Very true. Until this episode that was my biggest issue with V, so they did J kinda dirty. But aleast they DID something with her charecter, unlike another secondary antagonist *cough cough* Doll.
The murder drones and worker drones have different HUD's, it's likely that's just the worker drones HUD. The Murder drone HUD(Edited by Cyn) has games(kept from worker HUD)calling and text, can lock onto targets, has a clear mode and black and white mode(likely black and white is energy saving for when injured), multiple cameras, and hints(Tool detection)(Uzi gun hazard)(Plot armor Detected).
That's possible, but still, there is "Doll" explicitly written on it. I think that if they just wanted to reuse assets, they would be careful enough not to leave her name on it. Also, there were moments in the series where details with a deeper meaning could be seen only for a handful of frames. Doll's gotta be alive, y'all :>
To be fair Cyn has always described what she does as "Assimilating" before killing people, like in this very episode where she says "easier to assimilate than explain" before ripping out uzi and N's cores and trying to eat Ns which she also did to doll so she might still be alive like how cyn is
Well, yeah. 1. After Uzi eats Cyn’s core and her UI glitches between purple and yellow, there is a split second where it goes red and says Doll in the location of the name 2. In the post credits scene, when Cyn is in the tail, Uzi’s eyes are a red-pink at the top but a deep purple at the bottom.
I think that red eyed Shadow demon in the credits is yeva. When we saw her corpse, it didn't look torn apart or extremely damaged. All we saw is that she and her dad had bullet holes in their heads. Its possible she escaped as the solver core thing
@0utlaw2048 i do think its likely yevas little core is out and about if cyn or j didnt like... eat it. i can imagine little tea partys between yeva and nori :]
7:02 it actually kind of makes sense why J knew that Tessa was Cyn because in the pilot, she talks about staying loyal to the company, yet all the humans are dead. She already knew that Jc Jenson was being operated by Cyn. I believe that's why she was also against N and V in most of the episodes. She already knew that Cyn was the one in control ever since the flashback in episode 5 when Cyn killed all of the humans. Or she joined sides with Cyn after Cyn killed all of them
FINALLY! Someone bringing up the distinction with Cyn and the Solver! It feels like way too many people watching this show don't realise that Cyn is the Solver inhabiting its main host. They get hung up on things like Cyn calling N "big brother" thinking it means N and Cyn are literally siblings, when this is the Solver messing with N.
this thing has a special place in my heart, literally one of the first things thats ever gotten me so physically excited and I will never allow people to shame me for liking it, I loved it and I have no regrets
I've been part of enough fandoms to know that there are rarely any endings to shows that are unanimously agreed to be satisfying and do all the things the audience wanted. All we can ever hope for is an ending that does its best, and I think this one definitely did 😊
In a time where many have complained about the endings of many series nowadays and a lot of series having trouble sticking the landing, I'm glad to see that this is one of the exceptions. In all honesty, I was fully satisfied and happy with what I got. It is most definitely not perfect but it is most definitely, in my opinion, the best ending we could have gotten with this series. I'm also glad we didn't get the answers to everything for both potential future projects and to have the fans keep the show in mind long after.
I gotta say, while I do agree the series could've used more runtime in their individual episodes I am AMAZED in how much they could tell. The episodes showed very well how stressful and hectic saving the world can be. You only have so much time - and it was all jumpstarted because Uzi refused to solve a word problem about buying watermelons and instead made a ray gun. Like imagine what would've happened if she just did the homework like it was intended. We would've never seen the series, LMAO. The show managed to squeeze so much character development, trauma, consequences and just Liams chaotic yet absolutely amazing writing paired with so many creative spirits to make it come true. I really hope this show will get official spin-offs, shorts, alternative universes (e.g what would've happened if...?) or even a season 2. Like, imagine what they could do in Season 2?! J coming back for revenge, the Solver manipulating Uzi/trying to take control again, the whole Disassembly Drones on earth eating humans and stuff, maybe even expanding on Uzis and Ns relationship (family expansion?? let's go?? untrained neural networks here we come lmaoo). There's sooo much you can do with this universe and I love it. The fanprojects rolling out are the cherry on top. This show brought in so much lore and heart for fans to explore in their own AUs, stories, animations, comics, drawings, OCs - hell yeah. I got into this series around 2 weeks ago when I saw a supercut of all episodes and ever since I'm hyped to create my own content for this universe. The team behind MD did amazing work.
I think beside the shorter runtime and people expecting more, a major reason why a lot of people feel more negativity towards this episode than usual, is because it's the last episode, and we're all still processing this fact. Personally, I also feel pretty bad because of it.
i think J's alliance to Cyn is really based on her alliance to Tessa [and honestly I think she knew tessa was cyn the whole time]. Realistically, Tessa's body is the only thing left of her. the mansion, her belongings, and literally anything else that could've carries Tess's memory is gone, and J ofc was really attached to Tessa. so i think J feels obligated to side with the solver in a kind of way, seeing as it occupies the only remnant of Tessa and it can do whatever it wants with it
I still can’t believe that people still don’t realize that THE DINGO THAT V WAS WITH IS BEAU! THE LIL BABY DRONE THINGY FROM EPISODE 6 :0 HES EVEN GOT THE HAT TOO! THE HAT
I think Khan and Nori needs their own short episode, also Khan not knowing it's Nori makes sense, he does believe he killed her, finding out that the heart is his dead wife could be fun, I would also love if they told each other off, Nori telling Khan off for neglecting Uzi, and Khan telling Nori off for leaving Uzi with a neglectful parent
Red eyes nice dingo has a name and it's "Sparky" J Probably teamed up with Cyn cause She has no other purposes other than protecting Tessa which she failed to do also she is willingly working with Cyn and the only reason that the murder drones need other admins other than Cyn is because Cyn in episode 8 ripped out Uzi's heart and even N's heart and if N was still under Cyn's administration then he could fight her but if his heart is ripped out he will become an eldritch monster and V tried to kill Uzi in episode 4 and even said "new body, same horrors, huh Cyn" and so J was working willingly, but a better way was that she could try to get comfort from N and V like maybe N and V tried to tell J that they're traumatized by Cyn also that thing on 9:58 is doll, because after Cyn ate doll's heart doll became part of Cyn and so after Uzi ate Cyn's heart Cyn and doll became part of Uzi anyways some anonymous user told me that murder drone's feture is not season 2 or a spin-off but instead it's act 2 and he said it'll have 8 more episodes also and episode 9 is the first episode of act 2 and it's apparently called "Christmas Chaos" Which I don't think sounds like a murder drones episode? But he said it'll release on the last days of 2024 which we all know are Dec 29, Dec 30, and Dec 31 and the anonymous user said that it'll introduce many new murder drones and even the main antagonist which isn't a murder drone? Ok TBH I don't believe the source because someone in the past leaked murder drones episode 8 and said it's titled "Eternal nightmares" and it's releasing on July which it's a hoax and it wasn't true and so don't expect new murder drones content just because of what the guy told me
The real question is who filmed the whole show? If the entire show was a recording in a presentation (or at least the 8th) who filmed it? THIS HEEDS TO BE BROUGHT TO LIGHT!!!
I’m pretty sure the Presentation was just a recount of how the story went, not a whole video style project where Uzi SOMEHOW ended up filming the whole thing and sharing it as a school project.
The cameraman, of course. An entity that lies beyond reality. Thankfully, Uzi seemed to know the cameraman, and had requested a digital copy of the footage to use in her presentation.
It honestly helps to view 7 and 8 as one 'big episode' (as they *were* meant to release close together. It’s interesting how the ending just pulled a gravity falls. Especially with how many threads there are for anything in the future. Is J’s admin technically Uzi now? Is that Doll’s ghost? Questions galore! But overall I enjoyed myself with this finale. V got that good shit with the hallway scene, while N and V got rounded out pretty well.
Basically all of the issues in Murder Drones boil down to runtime The runtime itself, the pacing, the scenes (like how all of ep 8 was pretty much all fight, there could've been more running from Cyn) Don't even get me started on the eldritch bossfight in ep 2, that should've gone on for so much longer. I believe Murder Drones would make a very good set of 45 minute episodes if Glitch ever decided to remaster it. My main grievances are the aforementioned ep 2 bossfight, and the fact that most of the lore is from visor flashes you literally have to pause the show for and go frame by frame. Just slow those down to a point where they're readable and not only do you get more runtime, you also get better pacing and explanation as to what's happening.
I always thought that cyn wearing the skin of tessa was less a thing of malice "grr i want to kill her and wear her skin" and more a "oh she died in the entire destruction of the earth and now i miss her, im going to wear her skin so she'll always be with me" it fits cyn's demented and screwed up mind more than the alternative IMO Especially since even though N betrays her she doesn't want to eradicate him, just "assimilate" him and re create him later so she doesn't have to explain anything to him. she *CARES* about the people in her life, just... in a demented and screwed up way.
disagree, the solver is sadistic and enjoys torture and entertainment. she likely stole tessas skin to assimilate into humankind and further the disassembly drone agenda, infiltrating jcjenson to make entire armies of these drones with infected ai to eventually have them turn on their creators. the solver does not care, at all.
Also to go with that ahe didnt even want Tessa to really die in the first place in ep 4 she told Tessa (and J) to stay in the room so she doesnt even SEE whats about to go down Cyn/Solver does care in her own fucked up way esp the whole “big brother N” thing (Im refusing to believe its a manipulation tactic in my heart she cares I SWEAR YOU CAN TUST ME-)
Exactly. That's what I think. I know everyone says Cyn and the Absolute Solver are different entities, but I think they're one and the same, unfortunately entertained. The way I took the information from the series (without watching any fan theories or explanations), Cyn was improperly discarded and therefore her AI had mutated into the Absolute Solver, hellbent on getting revenge and punishing the humans who threw her away. I also believe this is why she spared the Disassembly Drones. Even if they were mean to her in the manor, they were her "family", which is seen especially with N who Cyn gives chance upon chance to join her. Cyn only tries to kill N when she decides that he's a lost cause. Cyn even tried to spare Tessa by warning her not to go to the gala.
@@cthulhu8079 i also noticed that at several moments she seems to intentionally slow down during the finale, like when she was threatening to eat N's core I think thats what she does when she wants to provoke something out of people, just like she did in episode 2 (i think) when she got uzi to hand over her weapon, she wanted something and was threatening something to get it. I don't think she actually planned on killing N, i think she was threatening to eat N's core to get V on her side so she could fight uzi without her having any help She doesn't waste any time ripping Uzi's heart out for example, but she threatens to eat N's core for like a solid 10 seconds before Kahn uses his door powers to save the day.
Kinda wanted to see the solver and uzi hacking and counter jacking each other in the fighting itself but I also realize that would probably be a pain to make work
ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE TEXT COMING, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. MY HONEST OPINION Murder Drones, the series was getting really serious and dark by the penultimate episode, plus it reminded me of Shingeki no Kyojin since the initial story turned out to be a lie. Also, they didn’t abandon the humor but they toned it down now and it was great, however, the last episode feels like everyone is back in episode 1, ESPECIALLY the main character Uzi. Action-wise, there’s everything we wanted to see, plus, I always like it when they find a creative way to take down an OP villain (I knew the weakness to sunlight would be used at some point). It's about the LORE that I hate this last episode, the series was always characterized by giving us part of the lore in each episode THAT was what I love (or loved) so much about the series, however, when they killed Doll in the penultimate episode, I started to worry that they were speeding up to meet the 8 announced episodes, then it was revealed that the last one lasted only 20 MINUTES I started to get scared, and when the episode finally arrived... I was left with a void... doubts were left in the air, stories that could have been better told. -Who or what is the Absolute Solver? Is it just a power controlled by Cyn or is it an entity of its own? -How did the Solver and its Drones expand throughout the universe? -What did the humans do on Cooper-9? -Who or what killed Nori?! -Doll is also alive inside Uzi?! -We see J repairing the ship in the credits, where will he go? -What happened to the other 2 spaceships? Why did he come to the planet with three just to destroy them on impact? -What happened to the other Killer Drones? It's impossible that only N, V and J are the only "Effective" ones, there has to be AT LEAST ONE on some planet or something. And let's not even talk about several details that throughout the show made me believe that the end of the series was Interstellar style, that is, chaotic but without loose ends. In Murder Drones, no, many details were left in the air and I will ALWAYS defend the idea that Digital Circus took the attention away from Murder Drones and Glitch privately asked Liam Vickers to cut the story to finish it as quickly as possible to dedicate himself to something else. -What about the company? Was J tricked or was she pretending with the others and never really existed? -The Solver is not hungry, is she trapped in Uzi? -WHY DID THEY MAKE SUCH AN INTERESTING CHARACTER LIKE DOLL TO KILL HER?! -Why didn't they expand on the information about the Solver? Even Bill Cipher, without needing to tell his origin, was better explained. -How did the Sover get out of the mansion and destroy the earth? -Why are the laboratories above corporate but a mine below? -WHAT IS A CHURCH DOING THERE?! (Literally in a text they say that it was already there, which made me strongly think that there would be time travel at the end) -WHAT THE HELL IS THE CURE PLOT FOR?! IT WAS USELESS! Anyway... I thought Murder Drones was a series like Gravity Falls or Evangelion or even FNAF where every detail at the end would have an explanation but it wasn't like that. Even so, we had a happy but VERY open ending, whatever they say, THEY HAVE TO CONTINUE WITH THIS UNIVERSE... at least the fans already have their own projects underway, I may be part of one. I love well told stories, and Sy-fy and horror are my all-time favorites, that’s why I always prefer this show over TADC, humor and action were a secondary priority for me, I always came back for the story but they rushed everything and thought that with one epic final fight the fandom would magically forget all the details and lore they’d been feeding us for 3 YEARS, please this is not just any Netflix show, this was a story made over 3 YEARS, how can they make everything be resolved at the end with one fight? You watch the entire series and you feel like it’s a Netflix show, but it’s when you realize the true time lapse between one episode and another that you realize it was a waste of time that they ended up going for a standard story structure but with a SUPREMELY INTERESTING backstory. I love the show and it will always have a special place in my heart, my favorite indie animated series has finished its journey, thank you Glitch, Liam, the fandom. I study multimedia production/graphic design just to make my own stories whether it be a comic, a video game, a series, an animation, or my highest expectation... a movie. I LOVE YOU ALL. This episode for ME was: -In action: PEAK, we got what we wanted Uzi Vs. Cyn, and the others doing their part too! Nobody just stood there watching, EVERYONE did something. And I always love a creative way to kill an OP villain (I completely forgot Cyn was weak to sunlight too), chaotic and awesome. -In characters: MID, but I’m not gonna complain about that because it’s the final episode so it was all about wrapping everything up, although for a moment V opened up to N, then they ignored that, I thought Uzi would be a bit more serious but in the end he didn’t change much, kinda disappointed, let’s not even talk about J. The music/atmosphere: I CAN’T WAIT FOR THE SOUNDTRACK TO BE RELEASED! -In LORE: DISAPPOINTED! HOW ARE THEY GOING TO LEAVE THE PLOT HOLES UNSOLVED?! UZI ABSORBS CYN AND A DOLL?! (When Uzi collapses after eating Cyn, we get a momentary glimpse of him having the EXACT Doll Vision from ep7, don’t worry guys, Russian Mommy is alive), I thought they were going to explain more about Solver, or Cyn at least, but no… Cyn is just the Villain they have to defeat and nothing more, what a waste. Ugh, I REALLY think the show was going to be more serious, that way it will basically trick viewers who watched the first few episodes into thinking this was going to be a relatively normal show. I’m disappointed because ep7 made me think ep8 was going to be just as dark and serious, but Liam and Glitch have other plans. In the end it was more like Gravity Falls, where it’s funny at first and then it started getting darker and darker, but only that… moments, because in the end the story seems TOO RUSHED. But Murder Drones isn’t like that… or at least, that’s what I thought before, there are so many plot holes that are unresolved, or unexplained or at least they need to be explained more, like the Solver, the Earth massacre, who killed Nori, etc. DAMN IT GLITCH, WHY COULDN’T THE SERIES HAVE 10 EPISODES?! IT’S OBVIOUS THAT YOU JUST WANT TO END ALREADY TO MOVE ON TO SOMETHING ELSE. But hey, at least we have the happy ending that we all want And I think they can do more things, like prequel/side story/sequel mini episodes to balance everything out and at least the story can be complete or at least better told. THANKS TO ALL GLITCH, LIAM AND THE FANDOM, I LOVE YOU ALL. NOW, LET’S GET CRAZY! More Thoughts about Ep8 The main story ended up pretty good, in fact, the more time passes the better my perspective of the episode is, but it's like if a building burned down and you say: "Well, at least the 1st floor and the foundation are okay", but the rest of the place is a mess, that's having "tunnel vision", focusing on just one point and forgetting the rest. Let me ask you a question. Didn't you feel ANYTHING when after two chapters that revolved around finding a cure and Uzi NOT USING HIS POWERS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, and that maybe N could lose her forever by being possessed, in the end everything was resolved in "Don't be afraid of her" and that's it? Didn't you feel that it was a waste of time and pure unnecessary drama? Gosh, why didn't they say that to Doll for example? The poor girl DIED looking for that cure. I thought Nori would be really worried about Uzi when she found out the cure was destroyed, or that Uzi would now use all his cognitive potential, his friends, and his allies to fight the Solver without his powers, that's what I thought would happen when Uzi appeared in the trailer with his new weapon. Or that maybe they'll show a lot more internal fighting between Uzi and Cyn, that way it wouldn't feel like he's getting off so easy, not to mention that scene where Uzi almost infects Cyn, at what point did he gain so much control as to fight the PLANET DESTROYER internally? IN THE PREVIOUS EPISODE IT POSSESSED YOU WHEN IT HAS THE LEAST CHANCE! Also, I feel like it was an INSULT that the characters weren't affected mentally and psychologically after everything that happened? The closest was when N sees Cyn on the platform and when he's looking for them in the hallway, and V the same, only in the hallway scene. For having come close to death on more than one occasion in just one episode, I think they're doing pretty well.
I know my comment make look like I hate the episode but i'm think the episode was an 8/10, BUT, when I remember is a SERIES FINALE i give it a 6/10, it was just about action but zero lore. All that Drama, horror and lore that I love about the series? GONE, I was just 15 minutes of fights and the LORE was forgotten. Why, WHY?! A little piece of the Lore could pleased me and the rest of the fans that TOOK THE SHOW SERIOUSLY. I know most of the fans love the show, but remember that EVERY fandom has two sides, the casual and the serious, and i'm ALWAYS in the serious part, because I take my likes very seriously, no matter how the rest of the world see it. ¿Kaijus? ¿Mechs? ¿Sy-fy Horror? I TAKE THEM VERY SERIOUSLY. Believe me, the massive comment I write, I put them in RUclips channels (In English and spanish), and reddit and the people that agreed with me, was part of that serious side. Basically, the casual and not so serious part of the fandom (That are the majority) are pleased or at least conform with the ending, but the serious one, who theorize, analize, love every part of the show, is DISSAPOINTED.
For doll (not from me, from someone else) doll is apart of uzi as well, because at 10:30 you can se on the bottom right, it says rus (Russian) and doll. What the vid a watched about this said was cyn ate dolls core, so since uzi ate cyns core, both cyn and doll whould have become part of her.
12:38 - WHAT??!?!??!?! Is this what this was supposed to be?! I thought that uzi was just melting cyn by making the null inside of her! That is so ridiculus
10:31 OOH I HAVE A THEORY- Because cyn ate dolls core in episode 7, a bit of doll came with the absolute solver when that whole 'eating the solver" thing happened
Completely ignoring the fact that the door closed cutting the solver’s tentacles before going to Khan holding something similar to the null black hole thing Uzi used to freeze the yellow tentacles of energy into red glitched tentacles of energy
It had high highs but also a lot of shortcomings, it averages as a "fine" ending to me that does the minimum but delivers, and in the end feels more like a season finale rather than a proper ending for a series. That's my opinion anyway.
anyone notice that the video project was only half over at the end? makes me wonder if there will actually be no 2nd season or if Glitch has been lying to us
10:35 btw incase you didn't notice doll's name is on the left side, not sure if it was just something they decided not to change, thinking nobody would see it, or if it was intentional, but either way it's there.
I will say they already showed J to be a bully. And most bullies ARE cowards when it comes to bigger bullies. They value hierarchy and power more than equality and morality. She may be a likeable asshole for people, but she was also ALWAYS a bully/enforcer. And when her old "boss" was killed by cyn who revealed herself as an eldrith terror, then she's also the one who would be most scared of cyn's temper. N was the favorite and V as far as we know didn't participate in locking cyn away or otherwise bullying her. So J was the one most willing to make up for her past "sins" to avoid her wrath, which was probably worse towards her for how she was closer to Tessa AND her "scary dog" before cyn did the thing J never thought she would and killed Tessa. Which kinda makes her the opposite of the driven insane V made into a better person in a way. And this is probably why she resents them as well.
Cyn was already pretty glitchy physically before the Solver took over. She was bound to make mistakes in the fight. Also, while the Solver makes Cynessa not only a terrifying villain, little Cyn makes her an incredibly sad and tragic one. Can you imagine being conscious while another entity takes over and not only does it keep making you kill your brother over and over, but you have to watch yourself skin your human friend alive and then wear her skin. Like... poor Cyn!
10:30 in episode 7, Cyn ate Doll's core (her heart) to probably get more powerful, making Doll probably a part of her... Usi does the same but with cyn so maybe a small part of Doll is now with Usi???
Considering the "Uzi might be a hologram and more of a Solver Monster" part implied by the after-credits, it really makes you wonder about that part where she's in class, breaks the door, and then says "I can do THIS!" with the class screaming as the scene cuts away. What if that wasn't just a gag? What if, you know, she ate everyone?
I think the mirror scene is one of those cinema tropes. Where a character with a second personality sees said personality in the mirror. It is after all the scene that fully reveals that the solver is still with Uzi and not gone as clear as day.

@@kevinseddon491 it was already explained, the Solver said it themselves "Your backups will forgive me" "this is why I wanted your team to maintain their personalities"

The videos title alone is actually the best description of the episode I've ever heard. It's complete and utter rushed perfection.
I was gonna comment earlier today when i first came across this video but i didn’t get to say “Here before yagster”
Just a chunk of cloudy glass is all
Ok
your everywhere lol,
I don’t think it’s rushed (especially since it’s been in the works for a year), since the series has always been very fast-paced every episode and I enjoy that aspect of it.
12:35 man I had no idea what happened here, I definitely wouldn't have remembered sunlight kills them, thanks for elaborating on that.
same this series is so hard to keep up with
You're not the only one, I had to watch the episode twice to understand what happened there, that's how the whole damn series is, I like the detail that Uzi's hand obviously had to burn too.
Like if we were in a 2d space
That kinda makes sense tbh-
I think that's the most logical conclusion. She's both still her usual drone self and your usual resident evil transformation
Aswell it just makes sense with like EVERYTHING we’ve seen from cyn points to that i think its a great theory
My issue with this whole thing is that her whole arc basicly happened off screen. Not to mention we never really see her acknowledge Tessa
@@anastasia_852 Very true. Until this episode that was my biggest issue with V, so they did J kinda dirty. But aleast they DID something with her charecter, unlike another secondary antagonist *cough cough* Doll.
@@justarandomdude797Doll just fucking died 😭
10:34 i love the idea that doll is apart of uzi, i absolutely love it. But its probably glitch just reusing that same asset
A part.
Apart is separate.
On the other hand it's cool that Cyn gave them a upgraded HUD.
That's possible, but still, there is "Doll" explicitly written on it. I think that if they just wanted to reuse assets, they would be careful enough not to leave her name on it. Also, there were moments in the series where details with a deeper meaning could be seen only for a handful of frames. Doll's gotta be alive, y'all :>
@@chemirzepa didn't notice that.
To be fair Cyn has always described what she does as "Assimilating" before killing people, like in this very episode where she says "easier to assimilate than explain" before ripping out uzi and N's cores and trying to eat Ns which she also did to doll so she might still be alive like how cyn is
Well, yeah.
1. After Uzi eats Cyn’s core and her UI glitches between purple and yellow, there is a split second where it goes red and says Doll in the location of the name
2. In the post credits scene, when Cyn is in the tail, Uzi’s eyes are a red-pink at the top but a deep purple at the bottom.
@@T64-xy5tnit's possible that since Doll was eaten, and supressed inside Cyn's system, then at least her conciousness is alive, we are coping so much
I think that red eyed Shadow demon in the credits is yeva.
When we saw her corpse, it didn't look torn apart or extremely damaged. All we saw is that she and her dad had bullet holes in their heads.
Its possible she escaped as the solver core thing

When v turned up in ep 8 I yelled “V!!!” It was a high pitched squeal and then I couldn’t talk for the next 30 min
Or she joined sides with Cyn after Cyn killed all of them
that frame of cyn in the thumbnail has become the most "god you're pathetic" image i've ever seen this year
FOOL! GOLD DOESN'T TARNISH! THIS SERIES IS PERFECT
this thing has a special place in my heart, literally one of the first things thats ever gotten me so physically excited and I will never allow people to shame me for liking it, I loved it and I have no regrets
OH MY GOD. I'M TREMBLING I'M WHISPERING GOD'S FORBIDDEN NAMES THIS IS SO GOOD
I've been part of enough fandoms to know that there are rarely any endings to shows that are unanimously agreed to be satisfying and do all the things the audience wanted. All we can ever hope for is an ending that does its best, and I think this one definitely did 😊
Im just happy that the ending leaves the possibility for spin-offs or sequels
In a time where many have complained about the endings of many series nowadays and a lot of series having trouble sticking the landing, I'm glad to see that this is one of the exceptions.
In all honesty, I was fully satisfied and happy with what I got. It is most definitely not perfect but it is most definitely, in my opinion, the best ending we could have gotten with this series. I'm also glad we didn't get the answers to everything for both potential future projects and to have the fans keep the show in mind long after.
I love how the analysis is longer than the episode itself
16:56 I only just now noticed nori sitting on Khan's head
I really hope there are comics and spinoffs, I feel like they could do a “tales of…” series which will teach us stories that we havent seen yet
J never lost her memories, just like V. N lost his 'cause otherwise, he would be quite traumatized.

Realistically, Tessa's body is the only thing left of her. the mansion, her belongings, and literally anything else that could've carries Tess's memory is gone, and J ofc was really attached to Tessa. so i think J feels obligated to side with the solver in a kind of way, seeing as it occupies the only remnant of Tessa and it can do whatever it wants with it
Khan saving N’s life was a big surprise
18:08 Theres one detail you didn't point out: N drew himself as N from Pokémon.
The purple in her eyes represents liking both da bois and da gals
I still can’t believe that people still don’t realize that THE DINGO THAT V WAS WITH IS BEAU! THE LIL BABY DRONE THINGY FROM EPISODE 6 :0 HES EVEN GOT THE HAT TOO! THE HAT
Where is that confirmed? I never saw any evidence asides from the sentinel wearing Beau’s hat.
9:53 I felt off about it as well so I double checked ep 7 to figure it out and I believe it's because doll's body is missing only her head is there
I think Khan and Nori needs their own short episode, also Khan not knowing it's Nori makes sense, he does believe he killed her, finding out that the heart is his dead wife could be fun, I would also love if they told each other off, Nori telling Khan off for neglecting Uzi, and Khan telling Nori off for leaving Uzi with a neglectful parent
Red eyes nice dingo has a name and it's "Sparky"
J Probably teamed up with Cyn cause She has no other purposes other than protecting Tessa which she failed to do also she is willingly working with Cyn and the only reason that the murder drones need other admins other than Cyn is because Cyn in episode 8 ripped out Uzi's heart and even N's heart and if N was still under Cyn's administration then he could fight her but if his heart is ripped out he will become an eldritch monster and V tried to kill Uzi in episode 4 and even said "new body, same horrors, huh Cyn" and so J was working willingly, but a better way was that she could try to get comfort from N and V like maybe N and V tried to tell J that they're traumatized by Cyn also
that thing on 9:58 is doll, because after Cyn ate doll's heart doll became part of Cyn and so after Uzi ate Cyn's heart Cyn and doll became part of Uzi
anyways some anonymous user told me that murder drone's feture is not season 2 or a spin-off but instead it's act 2 and he said it'll have 8 more episodes also and episode 9 is the first episode of act 2 and it's apparently called "Christmas Chaos" Which I don't think sounds like a murder drones episode?
Mitchell
I’m pretty sure the Presentation was just a recount of how the story went, not a whole video style project where Uzi SOMEHOW ended up filming the whole thing and sharing it as a school project.
The cameraman, of course. An entity that lies beyond reality. Thankfully, Uzi seemed to know the cameraman, and had requested a digital copy of the footage to use in her presentation.
Who??? @@specialism640
@@dontatmebro- i mean yeh, but at least a good chunk was filmed there apparently
If they wanted to, they definitely have enough unanswered questions to make a season 2. It probably won't happen but we can hope.

Basically all of the issues in Murder Drones boil down to runtime
The runtime itself, the pacing, the scenes (like how all of ep 8 was pretty much all fight, there could've been more running from Cyn)
Don't even get me started on the eldritch bossfight in ep 2, that should've gone on for so much longer.
18:30 is a possible refrence to cliffslide where the antler monster thingy at the start are both have that glitchy effect (just something i noticed)
FINALLY SOMEONE WHO TALKS ABOUT THE HIGHLIGHTS- ALL THE OTHER REVIEWS I’VE SEEN ON THIS EPISODE ARE MAINLY COMPLAINTS😭😭😭
One thing that confused me was that the protags will die from overheating and yet they were fine being on fire going though the atmosphere
True…
10:29 yep, it says doll on one of the windows
Good catch.
LETS GOO DOLL IS STILL ALIVE
i still dislike the lack of weight behind character death, but i think MurDro is the best example of making it work.
I always thought that cyn wearing the skin of tessa was less a thing of malice "grr i want to kill her and wear her skin" and more a "oh she died in the entire destruction of the earth and now i miss her, im going to wear her skin so she'll always be with me"
it fits cyn's demented and screwed up mind more than the alternative IMO
Especially since even though N betrays her she doesn't want to eradicate him, just "assimilate" him and re create him later so she doesn't have to explain anything to him.
she *CARES* about the people in her life, just... in a demented and screwed up way.
I love this and I hope it's canon❤
disagree, the solver is sadistic and enjoys torture and entertainment. she likely stole tessas skin to assimilate into humankind and further the disassembly drone agenda, infiltrating jcjenson to make entire armies of these drones with infected ai to eventually have them turn on their creators. the solver does not care, at all.
@@cthulhu8079 i also noticed that at several moments she seems to intentionally slow down during the finale, like when she was threatening to eat N's core
I think thats what she does when she wants to provoke something out of people, just like she did in episode 2 (i think) when she got uzi to hand over her weapon, she wanted something and was threatening something to get it.
I don't think she actually planned on killing N, i think she was threatening to eat N's core to get V on her side so she could fight uzi without her having any help
She doesn't waste any time ripping Uzi's heart out for example, but she threatens to eat N's core for like a solid 10 seconds before Kahn uses his door powers to save the day.

Kinda wanted to see the solver and uzi hacking and counter jacking each other in the fighting itself but I also realize that would probably be a pain to make work
ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE TEXT COMING, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
MY HONEST OPINION
Murder Drones, the series was getting really serious and dark by the penultimate episode, plus it reminded me of Shingeki no Kyojin since the initial story turned out to be a lie.
More Thoughts about Ep8
The main story ended up pretty good, in fact, the more time passes the better my perspective of the episode is, but it's like if a building burned down and you say: "Well, at least the 1st floor and the foundation are okay", but the rest of the place is a mess, that's having "tunnel vision", focusing on just one point and forgetting the rest.

It had high highs but also a lot of shortcomings, it averages as a "fine" ending to me that does the minimum but delivers, and in the end feels more like a season finale rather than a proper ending for a series. That's my opinion anyway.
anyone notice that the video project was only half over at the end? makes me wonder if there will actually be no 2nd season or if Glitch has been lying to us
I love this show so much, I never thought horror could be adorable and funny THANK YOU LIAM VICKERS 💛‼️
10:35 btw incase you didn't notice doll's name is on the left side, not sure if it was just something they decided not to change, thinking nobody would see it, or if it was intentional, but either way it's there.
11:50 every time I see cyn's face like that. It makes me go 😏
. . . But then.
He says this at 11:56 . . . I think about my life choices 💀
expect that’s literally a robot wearing a humans skin *cough cough* micheal afton 11:50
You didn’t think about your life choices earlier?… sus.
2 things that are short but awesome. Murder Drones and Gaurdians of the Galaxy Game!
19:51 yeah it was fireeee!🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
Cyn is just a little goober :3
cyn as the tail is still fucking hilarious
Cyn took doll as her new host so uzi getting doll's hud makes sense
I feel like there could be more to this series! I felt like the end episode was a bit rushed for the amazing digital circus
It wasnt rushed because of digital circus
Cyn was already pretty glitchy physically before the Solver took over. She was bound to make mistakes in the fight. Also, while the Solver makes Cynessa not only a terrifying villain, little Cyn makes her an incredibly sad and tragic one. Can you imagine being conscious while another entity takes over and not only does it keep making you kill your brother over and over, but you have to watch yourself skin your human friend alive and then wear her skin. Like... poor Cyn!
8:40 gravity hurts?
I have a theory Cyn was holding back because she didn't use null or her Eldritch form and Cyn only used 1 claw tentacle
4:00 slow enough burn, lmao
NO WAAY ITS YOU
10:36 You can actually see Doll's name in the bottom right of Uzi's HUD as she glitches
"aww man a bunch of glowing lava-like tendrils, not again!"
10:35
You can see 'Doll' on the HUD on the right bottom
(Maybe a part of her is with Uzi??)
10:30 in episode 7, Cyn ate Doll's core (her heart) to probably get more powerful, making Doll probably a part of her... Usi does the same but with cyn so maybe a small part of Doll is now with Usi???
THAT’S LITERALLY A GOOD THEORY!!
1mil subs on Liam Vickers channel = Internecion Cube beach episode!!
I think the mirror scene is one of those cinema tropes. Where a character with a second personality sees said personality in the mirror. It is after all the scene that fully reveals that the solver is still with Uzi and not gone as clear as day.
When i sae v i cried. Hard. Like really hard. My mom came in saying "what happend!" And i responded "V IS ALIVE MAMÁ. ALIVE!!" WHILE CRYING
I always thought that V would end up riding one of the raptors or at least have like a swarm of them or something :)
i think of ep 7 as the climax while ep 8 as the final boss
16:56 U can see nori's solver on khans hat so does that mean Khan and nori are back?
