21:30 Khan has ptsd from Nori getting killed, so we can assume N stabbing Uzi and him standing there was the exact same suitation, so either he didn’t want to see another family member get slaughtered, or have a chance at protecting himself and everybody else
THANK YOU! not condoning it but happy to finally see someone notice the same details. Another important thing to consider as a point in his favor, judging by the classroom scene in that very same episode it's safe to assume that she's had several other science projects that didn't work or blew up somewhat spectacularly so since that weapon has only successfully fired off outside, he had no evidence or reason to believe that that weapon would work or even successfully kill the murder drones that we've seen regenerate limbs and heads, for all we know they've tried fighting back before but didn't have anything capable of doing much against em
I am sorry, but if he "didnt want to see another family member get slaughtered" then he would not have abandoned Uzi. I can totally buy him being scared and traumatized enouh by Nori's death to abandon Uzi, but please don't ascribe any sort of quality to him that he did not actually display. It is understandable why he did what he did, but it does not absolve him of the responsibility he has as a father towards his daughter, a.k.a.: his last living relative.

W series, W reaction. Glad i was here for it. And this is one of the first times someone reacted to this and needed almost ZERO things explained to them, because the reactor can actually pay attention, thanks E.D.
I was actually a bit worried with how often he was looking at chat because I don't think I've seen a single reactor do that and not miss tons of important stuff! 😅
Sounds strange but was about to say the same thing, its true the series does have a lot of details that can be missed with a first watchthrough (especially if binged) but if you squint where its needed... its very solid. Sucks because its way too often I see people react and just... miss obvious things or aren't paying attention at all.
@@smolmuffin I think many people just aren't used to needing to really pay close attention to understand what's going on. I really enjoy that though, having to actually be observant and think about what's going on is REALLY refreshing.
@@crosana01 Yep! My attention span isn't reliable (thanks adhd) but I love art that you gotta "dig for answers" with because not everything needs to be spoon fed for it to be a decent story.
@@smolmuffin I wonder if some of it could be generational too? Like, there was no such thing as streaming until I was an adult and while VHS and then DVDs would exist most media wasn't first released on those mediums. So if you were watching something that you didn't own on VHS or DVD or wasn't available yet you had really limited opportunity to re-watch something. If it was something in a movie theater then you had to shell out more money to see it again. If it was on TV you had no idea when an episode might be rerun again so unless you recorded it you'd be entirely at the mercy of whenever the TV network decides to rerun an episode or release it on VHS or DVD. Because of that we couldn't risk not paying attention for a lot of stuff because there was no option to just rewind or watch it again without paying. Streaming is really nice because we can just easily go back and forth if we miss something, which makes finding all the little hidden things in Murder Drones possible. I wonder if people who grew up with mostly streaming media might be less inclined to focus as much because you can just rewatch things so quickly and easily?
Cyn was not created by Tessa, actually. To explain her/it, you gotta differentiate: Cyn is the Drone that woke up after the Zombie Drones tape. She was a worker drone that "died" (OS shut down/was killed off) and rebooted after her death, something that should not happen as Zombie Drones have damaged AIs Absolute Solver/Solver is the whole being behind this thing. It's usually portrayed through the Eldritchmonster with many "Camera" heads & Claws/Apendages. It's also the AI that is currently active in Cyns body. It's basically the entire brain behind this and Cyn & Tessa are it's puppets. Tessa didn't build the drones. Not exactly. She retrieves them from the dump, repairs them and "plays dress-up" (that's why Tessas drones like V, J, N and Cyn have hair & accessories. Tessas dad mentions this in Episode 2 during Ns dream). Tessa is sheltered, she even told J she never talked to humans before outside of her parents, which means she most likely grew up 14-17 years without real human contact she remembers. That's why she loves "her" drones so much.
Important note here in case it somehow wasn't noticed or pointed out, it doesn't matter that the planet is barren of plant life or human food, cyn wanted to eat the planet itself. Based on that final episode and what we saw when cyn started her stuff, it's part of that material collection thing that we saw in the second episode used to repair damaged murder drones.
The raptor at the end is so out if pocket that, gives similar vibes to an archnee equiped with a RPG while riding a dragon in the sky with an army of other dragons fighting a UFO (So i'm a spider so what) reference

Well they're very different despite having horror themes so I know there potentially won't be as large an overlap between the fandoms. Murder Drones is exactly my kind of show though so I hope Liam was happy with how it ended and wasn't rushed because I sure as hell would love more if he wanted to do more!
Every Murder drones reaction video i watch, and I see the reactors getting so hyped, I’m reminded not only how good the show is ESPECIALLY for indie animation, but how special this show is. Seriously, we live in a time in which not only an entire high quality, high budget show can be created by an indie studio and completed in just under 3 years, but that show also being about the cringiest, edgiest little genocidal maniacs ever thought up, and I’m not afraid to say that I love these silly little Eldrich tin cans more than any other show or kind of media I can think of.
Gotta say, love cyn as a character but not because of the whole tessa skin suit thing....that broaches a level even I dare not tread. The reason I like her is because of her style of speaking, how her voice sounded alongside with stuff like "Sneaking, sneaking, get snuck up on" "hesitant nod" and the verbalization of some of her actions is such a interesting and silly thing that contrasts so much with the moments when she's acting or being genuinely terrifying. That style of speaking on a visually horrifying character makes for a rather interesting character
Elsie Lovelock is the VA for Uzi Doorman, as well as Gloink Queen (TADC), Charlie (HH pilot), many animes, video games, and more! Feel free to look it up!
I just realized something..... N flew THROUGH the ceiling.... you mean to tell me these MF’s NEVER thought “Oh we can’t get through the doors.... let’s burst through the ceiling!” They spent MONTHS trying to get through the door but not the ceiling?!
They probably didn't know what the bunker was like on the inside, so they wouldnt have known which buildings belonged to the bunker and which were empty, so they would have had to guess which ceilings to burst open, and i don't think they were very eager to just start bursting through random buildings until they eventually found where the bunker actually was. Alternatively, since sometimes the drones behave very robotically, i have seen a theory that basically says that because robots in general are programmed with "pathfinding" in mind, and as a result, they would treat a door as an obstacle that must be overcome before they can even think about entering a space. Once the doors were open, they could just start bursting through the ceilings and walls, but opening the door might have actually been a crucial step for their pathfinding.
