I loved charlie and I didn't have that gap between series to think about losing her. The first episode of season 2 I was almost disappointed to see she wasn't revived. I really hope they bring her back in some way... maybe like what they did with Emily's character in Criminal Minds. I'm a huge fan of the show whether she was in it, but I shipped her and toby the second he told her about his gift.
I really liked Charlie... how great would if be if she had to go into protective custody or undercover and she's still alive and she appears in a future episode....
Why don't they show the episode where Charlie gets shot and dies in the hospital room in the reruns on ION Plus? All they do is show clips of that situation after Lauren Lee Smith takes over the role of lead Detective
Unfortunately there was never an episode where she died. It happened all off screen. S1 finale she got shot and was in hospital and by the s2 premiere she was dead :(
@@jemmalynette - so the season 1 finale she got shot and was in the hospital, and that is where it ended. They never showed her dying. The season 2 premiere is where Lauren Lee Smith began. So they did air Charlie getting shot? And Charlie lying in the hospital bed with Toby by her side? They just never actually showed Charlie dying?
@@thee_rqck_stqrz_hquse yeah that's right, it was a surprise cos I think everyone just assumed as it didn't show her death that she would survive but then she wasn't in it anymore :/
@@jemmalynette - I picked up on the computer guy Dov telling Michelle that eight months ago detective Marx was shot and killed . I figured that must have been a season finale. It is funny though. When detective Marx figures out Toby special ability , she keeps it to herself. But the moment Toby tells Michelle about his secret ability, and Toby demonstrate it for Michelle, Michelle immediately put him on the payroll. Why didn't detective Marx ever do that for Toby
@@thee_rqck_stqrz_hquse personally I preferred it when he was a paramedic and helped Charlie out of good faith rather than joining the team in S2. S1 was so much better than the rest of the series imo
why did they get rid of charlie? I just finished watching season 1.. there was great chemistry between toby and charlie. I have just started season 2 and suddenly charlie is gone.. and I don't like her replacement.. and what happened to Frank? and to Toby's mother? they did not get back to them after season1? I lost interest in the show now completely :-/ it is not worth watching anymore
They decided to take away the entire underlying conspiracy/mother story line (X-files/Lost/FlashForward/Event style) and go procedural. Part of the revamp was taking out characters that fed those stories. JAG did a similar thing, they wanted to include a romance so dropped the blond Navy Meg LT JG in favor of a Marine Major because the lead man was a Navy LT Commander, which Meg could NEVER date. (But then again, JAG changed networks after being cancelled and given that it got 9 more years with their revamp PLUS all the NCIS spinoffs... I guess they read the audience well.
He does not tell Charlie that he is a telepath. Charlie Figures it out on her own. She tells him that when she is leaning up against his door when her hair is down she has been drinking. Charlie tells him you know what I am thinking. But she puts the emphasis in the right place of that statement, and Toby confirms it
