For them who couldn't read what was written at the end of video ☺️- Code blue is generally used to indicate a patient requiring resusciation or in need of immediate medical attention,most often as a result of a respiratory arresst or cardiac arrest👍.
Experienced 5-6 code blues within 4 days of emergency posting in my internship... Gave cpr for all these patients. Ended up with a dorsal ganglion cyst on my left wrist because of all that pressure on my wrist while performing cpr.
Let me know all the codes(red,black,white etc) i have seen recently in hospital,the poster attached to the lift, as I was admitted for nose surgery (septoplasty) and discharged yesterday, the hospital staff was wonderfully doing their job and even housekeeping. I am really thankfull to them they made me felt like it was sec home only and helped whatever I needed at the moment.Please tell me more information about anesthesia ,post surgery risk of anesthesia.
The doctors had to do a cold blue on my son one time. He had a seizure that made him stiff as a board and ashy blue. They weren't able to give him Ativan immediately because we just arrived in the room and he was barely admitted. Hitting the button was the only way they could give him Ativan at that moment. Scariest night of my life.

The thing I remember is when I was a small child, my granny got really sick we admitted her to hospital...... Everything was going well , so I came out to get something and next thing I heard was announcement that went like " code blue ,ward no.16 all medical staff report to room 16 .... I panicked I stood out for two hours ..... Next thing I heard when doctors came out was" sorry , we couldn't save her " In her report I read " cause of death - cardiac arrest " I won't forget the meaning of code blue my entire lifetime 😢😢😢 Just started missing her when I saw this ......💔💔
I work in emergency and literally the joy of reviving the patient can’t be expressed in words. One suggestion, laryngoscope won’t be held with right hand.
