The best football documentary I’ve ever watched. God bless the entire production team
Amen and thank you very much!
@@TheGhanaChannel pleasure!!!
FANTASTIC
I am watching this as a Nigerian and one thing I can deduce from this documentary is if the football officials and the team are not united or in oneness, there is nothing they can achieve.
I remember when Ghana gained fame after the 2006 World Cup. Afterwards every Ghanaian born in the diaspora wanted to visit Ghana. The black stars made Ghana famous! Everyone at school who thought Guyana and Ghana were the same nation took note and noted the difference.
I watched all the matches live, and it was all joy.even when we lost against Brazil 🇧🇷 it was still Jubilation 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Appiah is such an inspiring captain
I think one documentary should also be made on the 2010 and 2014 World Cup ❤️🙏
Infact kudos to the team that out this together,I was too young then but I feel so proud to be able to learn about such history to translate into this generation
Thank you very much @tedetcloud8082 We really appreciate your support
Tears in my eyes. Good memories. Glad to be part of this history
❤️❤️❤️
Mede shot beku no walaayi.. hehe Sulley Muntari will always be one of my best Black Stars players of all time. His dedication and selflessness was top notch!
Ghana vs Czech Republic was probably the best game I have ever seen Ghana play. The only close comparison was when Ghana beat Egypt 6-1 to qualify for 2014 World Cup. Absolute domination.
Ghana Vrs Germany in 2014 was also a great Match
These three matches were memorable for Ghana; against Egypt in kumasi 6-1, against Czech republic 2-0 and Brazil 0-3.
Finally, a Black Stars documentary i can be proud of....From the 1st episode to the 3rd just brought back proud moments to be Ghanaian. Thank you!
So pleased you are proud of us. Thank you. We have more coming so please share the word.
WC 2006 to AFCON 2008, that was the best football Ghana have ever played. Appiah Essien + Muntari were so strong. I would've built the whole team around them + dropped Amoah. The Czech game is by far Ghana's best result, but Agogo's winner against Nigeria was special too, but so was Muntari's cracker against Guinea! We also hammered Nigeria again. Those were good times....
Now look at where we are 😢😢😢#2024
The Black jersey was hard af
This is what we call patriotism and passion. Not this time Black Star Team which is full of money minded
Hmmm, it's worrisome 😢
We're the black stars 😊
Kurt Okraku needs to watch this over and over again
Tell him in bold letters...he should be ashamed
I wish this interview turns things around for our NTs. 🙏
Absolutely wonderful interview! Thanks for putting this together. Great to see how others sacrificed for the black stars. Props to Nyantakyi, players, the then prez and minister of sports etc. This documentary really made me appreciate their efforts. Once again, thanks for this
Couldn't agree more! It was really a lot of work.
We thank you very much legends
Sulley’s word😅
Mekunu😅
Dem dead 😂
This are great men , God bless them
Amazing work! This is one of the best documentaries I have seen on Ghana Football- I hope to see more in the future!
Thank you very much
This is a superb documentary, please we need more of these
Fantastic football documentary. We need more documentary about Ghana Football and our national team players.
He should be brought back again to the team
Nyantakyi we are sorry. Forgive us, Ghana saw the greatest achievements under you. Our football now is just at ground zero. Things fall apart
Now more than ever this comment rings true
i binged watched all 3 episodes today..great production..Maybe your next work can be about the 2009 u20 team and hearts of oaks 64 bathalions team from 2000 - 2005..
Oh wow. You must have had a good good time today then. Thanks also for the suggestions. We'll surprise you soon one of these days 😍
Oh Ghana, so how did we get here as a football nation, now we can’t even beat Comoros 🇰🇲
So what happened to all this passion in this current blackstars team..?😢
Now it’s all about money , corruption greed, nepotism
I love your interview the best so far
we are waiting for 2010 documentary too
Eish
Pressure 😀😀😀
@@TheGhanaChannel 😂😂
Great production. Kudos to the Fentuo and the team for doing this.
We can’t end it here.
We will need the part two on our success in South Africa and then the final part on the collapse in Brazil. Nyantakyi, Appiah, Painstil, Pappoe and Asamoah Gyan replacing Laryae for subséquent éditions will teach us a lot.
Am positive this documentary will gather 1 million views eventually.
Great work
Thank you very much for your support and brilliant suggestions too 🙏
Great documentary really enjoyed it. Keep it up
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it!
I have really enjoyed your documentary. Thank you
We're very grateful you did too
I remember I was in Secondary School at the time this match was played 😊. Interesting moments passed!
Good day's
Pls we need next episode for 2008 afcon and 2010 World cup
This current black stars massa forget...Broken heart soorrrrr
We are waiting for the U-20 world cup 2009 documentary
this is just amazing
best documentary of the stars so far
please do more
Thanks so much for your kind words.
Coaches always take a gamble, especially for their most talented players. Arjen Robben was injured for Holland group stage matches in 2010 World Cup. He took his team to the final.
❤️
Great piece of work put together … keep it up !!
Thanks a lot
I can Remember am 6yrs old dat time
Now my heart is at peace. But at the same time I’m so hooked I want to see a part 4. 😂 I want to have Painstils POV on the flag saga and Sammy’s for being dropped.
Hahaha. We'll see what we can cook up 👆
@@TheGhanaChannel Thank you in advance
Great interview and great production. Totally enjoyed it!!!
Much appreciated!
Keep doing a great work bro. It's very difficult to get documentaries like this especially concerning the history of Ghana football.
Thank you. We are here to help change this. Bless up.
The quality of the management team was up there
Absolutely
Beautiful ❤️
"We never used the black Jersey again. Some Ghanaians said it was a bad luck" by formal GFA president Kwasi Nyan Tarkyi.
This statement means that despite his problems, there was some sort of acceptance of Ghanaians opinions. He never threatened any media and journalists or other Ghanaians to sue them when criticising black star like we are seeing today.
😊
The were commenter in making history. With huge sacrifices. Good story! I think we need our basis back. After watching this documentary, I realizes that quality play part in our football foundation. Unfortunately we abundant that strength on ourway.
😎
love it
Thank you very much
I hope the next episode drops soon
A great documentary. Kudos to the team behind. Loved it
Thank you very much 🙏
Fantastic documentary 👏
Great work
Thank you
Great documentary. Can there be one on the Starlets 89/91 World Cup? It's fair to say they put us on the world stage as well with their brand of football. Not forgetting the Barcelona 92 U23 football squad that won bronze at the Olympics.
Thank you. And really solid recommendations too. Thanks again.
@The Ghana Channel Welcome, sir. And keep up the good work!
👏👏👏
Fentuo I think you've learned a lot through this documentary because football game isn't about what you see on the pitch but what really goes behind the scenes.so sometimes when you're doing your analysis on the be considerate be truthful and stop the exaggerating and always stop comparing our football to Europe because we don't compare you to European media
One key takeaway was the fact that player selection was left for the coach to decide.
True.
And Cape Verde is beating us now
Issa Ahmed
If Laryea Kingston went to the WC, we’d have reached the semifinals #guaranteed!!
Laryea issue was like sabotage 😊

Can't say anything now but later why Ghana lost the world cup 2022.
I keep on saying "jerseys don't play football but they "contribute in winning cups"
It happened to Brazil after their long cup drought and decided to stick to this their present yellow and blue colour.
Ghana must go back to the Gold colour with the Black Star on the Gold. Why should you have Black Star on the white colour. The Gold colour with the Black Star on it must be revisited if we want to win African cup. Forget about a black jersey or white/ red jersey- stick to our old jersey that Mali has taken.
I appeal to the organisers to go back to our old jersey that makes us ,"Black Stars" Just watch our old stars in the Gold jersey there you will see our football spirit.
Let's have our gold jersey down at home- Ghanaian tailor/ seamstress. Are we saying we don't have tailors in Ghana so we have to take it to outside Ghana.
We must stop talking about past tense- the old is gone but now we must start planning for "tomorrow " African cup/ next world cup. Many countries that couldn't win the cup have already started planning for the Next world cup_ American .But what is Ghana planning now. Are we even sure of our next coach_ hunting for home made players as we used to do_ under 17 ,20 then promoted to Black Stars _ go back to old plans that Ghana used to follow but not what we do now _ switch over to play for Ghana. No team work but individual players/ names that don't help
I suggest Ghanaian organisers must plan ahead now and do away with favouritism but discipline/ truthfulness and Black stars will wake up for our former stars to "walk tall"
God Bless Black Stars in our Gold jersey- made in Ghana.
Cheers
Too true my friend
Before puma
After qualification the puma deal came in.
