This day was indeed the happiest day in soccer for Ghanaians and The whole of Africa. These players did exceptionally well and the most amazing thing is the fact that they played the game with 10 players against 11 players (Brazil), never gave up, fought even harder and defeated Brazil. Sometimes in life, we need to go through some hardship in order to breakthrough our success. Never give up and trust God that all things are working together for your good. I always get frightened watching the part where Agyeman-Badu was gonna take the kick. This game was tensed and the celebration afterwards was massive! Big ups to the Egyptians, their support and love helped our players to be strong even when down to 10 players playing against Brazil, yet they won the game and tournament.

I watched this game live in 2009 and the feeling after the game was unbelievable. Since I have watched the penalty shootouts countless times. But today as I was watching the shootouts again a voice told me that the goal keeper Sammy Adjei deserves a special award. He was responsible for the victory. He stood tall and snatched the cup from the hands of the Brazilians for Ghana. When God wants a country to make history he uses people. Some fail the task while others succeed due to factors I can't explain here. Daniel Adjei performed his assignment by God superbly. A year later God wanted Ghana to make another history in South Africa 2010 but Asamoah Gyan failed to be history maker. Please let's push this agenda for Daniel Adjei to get the special award he deserves. It would please God.
