Don't mind me. Just a regular kid crying here. God damn, I couldn't live to here this on the radio. This song always seems to turn on my feels switch. It... really gets to me. Childhood and stuff, everything. It's so beautiful.
There was a woman who worked at the company I work for. Her name was Jude and i used to love ending her emails so i could start it with "Hey Jude" It's silly, but you have to enjoy the little things.
That just made this song, the legendary masterpiece that I can't help but cry at, 1000000000000000000000x better. I'm not joking. It manages to cheer me up, but now I will always smile at it. Thank you you wonderful soul and your radar ears.
This is one of THE BEST SONGS OF ALL TIME!!!!!!!!! I'm 14 years old and have so much respect for The Beatles and Classic Rock in general. It makes no sense to me how it disappeared... Nothing has more meaning and certainly does not sound as good. If anyone in the world could bring Classic Rock back. They would have my ultimate respect! I just love this song, The Beatles, and Classic Rock.
" When I would get sick, you would make me tomato rice soup. And instead of a lullaby you would sing 'Hey Jude" 'cause that's your favorite Beatles song"
This is the Beatles we are talking about here, they are a timeless classic and we all love em to pieces, This is what great music sounds like children :3
People may argue that they aren't the best band of all time. That there are way better bands out there. But no one can deny that they are the most influential rock band of all time.
I am depressed over my romantic life. So, I decided to listen to music from a generation older than what I grew up with. The good old days... before I was born. LOL
I saw Paul McCartney perform last night as part of his "Out There" tour and absolutely bawled when he played this song. My favorite Beatles song, and it's even more brilliant hearing it performed live by the genius behind it. ♥
I heard this song constantly at An Hoa and Dodge City in the Rocket belt south of Danang , September 1968. It was a very soothing song to hear in between rockets , mortars and artillery. Thank you Beatles for moments of sanity.
I jus absolutely love The Beatles, I am extremely grateful towards my mother for listening to these amazing songs when i was still a kid....I love the 50s - 80s music and its only because of my mommy♥♥♥
Okay wrong. Paul wrote the song for John to let him know he could leave the Beatles to be with Yoko, the most important thing to him at the time, and that it would be okay between them.
Whoops, guess I was thinking of what Lennon said. "When Lennon first heard "Hey Jude," he loved it - he thought McCartney was singing to him, about his relationship with Ono and the strains on the Lennon-McCartney partnership. (Lennon's contribution to the song came when McCartney pointed out a place-holder line in the fifth verse: "The movement you need is on your shoulder." Lennon insisted he leave it as is. "That's the best line in it!" he said.) Calling "Hey Jude" one of McCartney's "masterpieces," Lennon said in 1980, "I always heard it as a song to me. . . . Yoko's just come into the picture. He's saying, 'Hey, Jude - hey, John.' Subconsciously he was saying, 'Go ahead, leave me'"". Thanks for clearing that up!
I think anybody will understand, John Lennon found it funny and thats the reason the left it, and I'm quite certain that John didn't hear it from ifunny
More like every user will understand considering that everyone won't shut up about it in the comments. Not to mention that this song is about 50 years old, and was in the number 1 spot for 9 weeks, I'm sure ifunny . . . whatever that is . . . Wasn't the first one to notice. -_-
wonderful song...reminds me of one of my student...a sweet kid who loved singing this song, though he wasted our session singing this... i still enjoyed it....
Back in '69, when the Beatles were EVERYTHING, we sat for hours listening (on our little mono record players) to Hey Jude...to count the "na's" : ) Silly but true. 248 was the count then, (including the 'na's' Paul throws in in the background toward the end) AND the 7 in the fade out. What a way to spend time at the cottage on Lake Michigan in the summer of '69: ) "Those were the days my friends, we thought they'd never end..." long live 'those days' !
At my first camp with friends, we sang this song every evening @ the campfire, when we did the dishes, it didn't matter! We just sang this song, and we had a $#@%load of fun with singin it. I'll never forget that camp. :)
OMG!!! I 💗💗💗💗❤❤❤💚💚💜💜💙💙❤❤💓💓💓 this song!!!!!!!!!!!! I really wish I lived back in the 60's and 70's or, the 80's even though the beetles were broken up by then!!
Admitting there are good musicians today does not somehow invalidate the good music of the Beatles. You can like more than one style or time period of music.
Esta gente si son admirables lo que mas me gista de ellos es que no es que solamente cantan bien y es el mejor Rock lo otro es que ellos mismos componen sus canciones.
Don't mind me. Just a regular kid crying here. God damn, I couldn't live to here this on the radio. This song always seems to turn on my feels switch. It... really gets to me. Childhood and stuff, everything. It's so beautiful.

There is a woderfull story behind a song, behind a kind heart and behind a wounded soul. This song is LOVE, and my faith in humanity is restored :).
I love Beatles 😍❤👌🌟
People may argue that they aren't the best band of all time. That there are way better bands out there. But no one can deny that they are the most influential rock band of all time.

My mom died 8 yrs ago I'm now 13 I'm always sad and a man that's been out of singing for a long time helps people still to this day
At 2:58 you can faintly hear "fucking hell" because there was a mistake
yeah Paul missed a key on the piano and said that on instinct it's left in because John thought it was funny.
michael bordonaro he actually played the wrong chord on his bass.
It would be "bloody hell" but I still laughed when I found it XD
I jus absolutely love The Beatles, I am extremely grateful towards my mother for listening to these amazing songs when i was still a kid....I love the 50s - 80s music and its only because of my mommy♥♥♥

Okay wrong. Paul wrote the song for John to let him know he could leave the Beatles to be with Yoko, the most important thing to him at the time, and that it would be okay between them.
Nope. Paul has said that it was about Julian. Multiple times. So has Ringo. So.
Show me where he said that. And I don't care about anything that Ringo has to say lol
