FeherGuard Premium (FG7B) Above-Ground Solar Cover Reel System Assembly Instructions

I struggled to set up and install the FeherGuard Premium (FG7B) Above-Ground Solar Cover Reel System. I searched the internet and RUclips for vidoes to help, but I wasn't able to find any. Once I figured it out, I decided I needed to make a video to help others. I had intended to take a video once it was installed, to show the operation of the reel, but I never got back around to it. Next spring I'll update the video when I'm able to add that in. Please take it easy on me... this is my first video.

Nice. Just putting mine together, it's the five tube system, for a 27', so I don't know if it's thicker, but there's no way you're getting those self tapping screws through two tubes without a pilot hole. Anyhow thanks for the vid.

Right? There's no way it's going to start and catch! Drilling the pilot holes was absolutely necessary! I'm glad it helped!

If you use the proper #3 Philips bit, the screws don’t wobble and no pilots are needed. The tube is aluminum. Very easy to screw into. Thanks for making a video. The company’s instructions are very poor!
