I mean… I can kinda understand from the corporate perspective… but if your gonna build a bike, best bet is still the used market- but it’s not a bad idea- I’m sure some will snag these up

@ The salary from every CEO in America is ridiculous. The CEO of my company takes no salary, just stock options. It’s not going to lower the price of the product you buy. No one likes the CEO of HD, unfortunately him leaving is not going to change the price of motorcycles. I have never seen a wholesale price list of a Harley-Davidson like you can find for automobiles. It is very well known that the dealerships are the customers of Harley-Davidson and we are the customers of the franchise dealerships.
What I want to see , an announcement that the CEO has been kicked to the curb. When that happens, I will open my wallet to Harley again. I have serious doubts that these bike will not be going for a “deal” I can hear their pitch now. This is a rare unique motorcycle, we have to do an additional over charge!
I still say great bike if you're looking to build something..... despite all the comments in here...... why buy a Road Glide St brand new if you're just going to tear the damn thing apart completely waste of money...... by the cop bike and build the shit out of it it makes perfect sense

My buddy just bought a 2024 Full spec road glide in Johnson City for around $25K. They would have to be way cheaper than $20k to be a value.
Yes was at a dealer last week and they had a 2024 Road King Police edition with the solo seat.
I think they are trying hard to get rid of them.
There are wiring harnesses out there plug and play just for the police bikes so ya you can put a gts or a soundstream hu in it

The mirrors are different. They aren't vision corrected and don't say "objects are closer" on them. It takes getting used to but they are police only.

Yup. MoCo using up old parts...making "police" models that will never see service. Info came to dealers as a carry over about a year ago.
