    Wonder if one could do this with a real lily of the valley? It would have to be done so crazy gently, but I feel it could be done. One would have to put the resin on all of the dimensions.

      You should try it out 🙂 Everything is possible! You just have to experiment and find your own tips and tricks to do it 🙂

    Can we use UV ray light to dry it

    • @CraftsbyMeelespea
      @CraftsbyMeelespea  Год назад +2

      I use uv resin and cure it under led lamp. But you should be able to cure uv resin with uv lamp or direct sunlight also.

    Good tutorial. I have tried this and sometimes end up with transparent spots on the flowers even though they have dried thoroughly.

    • @CraftsbyMeelespea
      @CraftsbyMeelespea  5 месяцев назад

      Thank you..yes, transparent spots are common problem with dried/pressed flowers, as the flower petals are so thin and delicate.

    Thank you , very informative. How long to keep art under UV light each time ?

    • @CraftsbyMeelespea
      @CraftsbyMeelespea  4 месяца назад +1

      It depends how long your UV resin needs to cure and if you are using UV/led light or sun for curing. I usually cure between 4-10minutes per layer if I need to flip or touch the jewelry.

    Do you have to let the flowers dry first? And if so, how’s the process of drying.
    Thank you 🙌🏼

    • @CraftsbyMeelespea
      @CraftsbyMeelespea  Год назад +2

      Yes, flowers must be completely dry, otherwise they will change their color in the resin. You can find tutorials about flower drying from my channel. Also if you start to dry and press your flowers and place them between book or in semolina, flowers have to be also dry. So don’t pick your flowers on rainy day or if you do so, let them dry in vase for a day.

    They're so beautiful! Can you use resin without the curing lamp? It would take longer but is it possible to just let resin cure in open air? Thank you!

    • @CraftsbyMeelespea
      @CraftsbyMeelespea  Год назад +3

      I am using uv resin and always have been curing it under the lamp. I know that you should be able cure it with direct sunlight also, but it takes longer. Be careful with dust as it may ruin your artworks.

    how long are you curing each side?

    • @CraftsbyMeelespea
      @CraftsbyMeelespea  5 месяцев назад

      It depends what kind of resin and led lamp are you using. I usually cure for 10 minutes (final layers on both side) to be sure that resin is cured properly.
