This Intermediate level "ChalkTalk" shows you step-by-step how to analyze an irregular rhythm strip. "Group beating," as seen in this ECG, can occur due to a number of different arrhythmias. You will learn how to analyze this irregularity using a knowledge of physiology and determine the correct diagnosis.
Dr. Nicholas Tullo, a heart rhythm specialist, will show you all the tips and tricks you need to read basic and complex rhythm strips and 12-lead ECGs.

At the first look i would just say this is Fibrillatio atriorum et fluctuatio atriorum. Thank you for proving me wrong and showing me why!
Beautiful
thanks for sharing the ecgs. learned more than class and books.
I thought it was the "Type 1 2nd° AVB" from what you original wrote. I was definitely wrong LOL. Im just a simple Firefighter/Paramedic and don't have the training that you Doctors get (obviously), so I definitely appreciate all of these interpretation videos!
I am really enjoying your YT videos because you are using an actual sample of ecg. Your lecture today is bigeminal PAC. Not 2nd Degree Type 1 bcoz there's no drop beat. I'm learning....thanks doc Nick.
Hi, Swerte -- Yes, all of the ECGs on my website (ecgacademy.com) are from real patients. I have over 530 of these ChalkTalks now. You should check them out if you want a deep understanding of ECGs and arrhythmias.
@@ECGDoc hello doc Nick, which is more critical, PVCs or PSVT
Another question doc, is it possible to have PVC inside or between an atrial run?
@@swerteko7737 There's no way to answer that. What do you mean "critical"? Neither are life-threatening.
@@ECGDoc Hello doc, I mean severity
Difficult one to figure out, but again à splendid explaination.
