G'day Yuka! My grandpa was from Myanmar (previously called Burma). Because he was Indian, we enjoyed many of curries with my grandpa and grandma (grandma was also Indian) and as well as my extended family of Greek heritage. Going to their house every Saturday morning was the best because we knew that later on in the day, we'd have an awesome lunch of homemade Indian curry and papadums.

I was in Myanmar for five years..Have not been back since Covid..Miss it a lot especially Bagan and outside Yangon..

Hi Yuka thanks for your video - i lived and worked in Myanmar from 2017 to 2023 in Myotha just outside of Mandalay towards Bagan .Your trip took me back to many places i visited and reminded me of the beautiful friendly and wonderful country. Thankyou.

I'm glad you met some kind strangers in your travels. I had the same experience in Japan. There was a very nice girl who helped me figure out how to get to Koya-san, and there was a man who walked me to a place I was looking for in Shibuya.
