All of the top Forex brokers for US traders are regulated in the United States. The main regulatory bodies are the National Futures Association (NFA) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
Use a relatively small sum of money to test how easy it is to deposit and withdraw funds from your Forex account before you make a large investment. You should also check out each broker in the NFA's Background Affiliation Status Information Center (BASIC) by using their NFA ID. A BASIC check can prevent complications.

If you can't find a broker that you're interested in on the BASIC system by using their firm's name, an individual name, or another identifier, you should avoid doing business with them. Even an introducing broker should be registered on BASIC if they're legitimate, so if they're not there, that's a bad sign.

Hi yourproductshop8517, if you are a resident of the EU, you can use a European broker. When signing up to a broker, you need to provide proof of address. We have a review of OANDA that you can have a look at: eatradingacademy.com/oanda-forex-broker-review/
Keep in mind that if you're a US resident, and trading with a US broker, you may have an issue with some of the EAs, because of the FIFO rules, which basically mean you cannot open a trade in one direction (buy/sell) and then another one in the opposite direction, before closing the first trade. This is essentially hedging, and not allowed in the US or to US residents.

Hi user-zq1it1up2d, there are a number of brokers operating in Trinidad and Tobago. We cannot recommend any, as we have not tested them or had personal experience, but a quick Google search will list several, which you can test using a demo account.

They charge too high on commission
No offense, but US Brokers spreads are not exceptional at all. They make scalping difficult and nearly impossible to be profitable, even with advanced indicators. There are less riskier methods to become wealthy.

Ok you mentioned 3 brokers that should NOT be used: YOU CAN NOT HEDGE!!!!!!!!! AND FIFO RULES!!!!! MAKE IT HARD TO MAKE MONEY!!! FOREX Hold onto your money for 1 week if you want to withdraw!!! With Forex, IF YOU WANT ANYTHING AT ALL DONE ITS A 5 DAY WAIT!!!! Please speak only of brokers that Can hedge and Accept US residence!
I know it is a headache to trade CFDs from the states, but these are the lows you have, mate. Don't be angry :) You can go around FIFO in a few ways if you trade with EAs - different lots, on different charts.
@@PetkoAleksandrov Im sorry but I've went through the headache of dealing with those brokers, I simply do not think its good advice to suggest them. There are way better options that don't limit traders to the extent that those brokers do. Especially not forex, unless you want to wait 5 days for literally anything you may need, you need to open you account, 5 day wait, you accidently put your money in the wrong account, another 5 day wait to transfer etc. its just not worth it.

@@jadesmith7983 Right now im ok with hanko trade, coinexx, and N1cm. But I advize being very careful with lot sizes and trading during high volatility. Because your account can be blown very quick.
they all are market makers. If you consistently make profits they will terminate ur account with no notice

@@PetkoAleksandrov yes. They shut down my account. No notice , no response to emails. Customer service has no answer. I spoke to someone I met online who went through the same issue.

Honestly, I think Metatrader is lagging and out-dated. It freezes on my system, lacks basic positioning tools, etc. I think it's awful and don't understand why anyone really likes it.
Because it offers algo trading. If it is really lagging, try using it with another broker.

They hell away from IG forex it is run by a bunch of clowns as soon as am able to will close my account

@@PetkoAleksandrov I tried to open a bussiness account and originally was told 2 weeks time after 2 weeks called and was upset and demanded to either open the account or not. When asked to speak to a supervisor thinking actually it would help only to turn around and tell me he will need at least another 2 weeks they need to open account manually and I am not capable to understand so will not bother explaining it to me. In 2022 with the technology we have it should takes few days at most and if they had to do it so called manually great that means either send emails or talk to someone over the phone any way you go it would not take a month for an exciting customer to open an account. Found a different broker for usa it is not as easy to find others but did should have an account up and funded very soon
