Heye puzzles are the best. I have over 100... the older ones are different from the newer ones- better quality, obviously newer. I just did an older puzzle called Rock On- I think they have it in a smaller piece count (750?) renamed Pig Band. It was soooooo difficult. I find most Heyes are not that difficult but this one was really, really challenging. And yes, who knows how to say their name...Hey? Hey-ya? And damn, I had an orange cat named Ziggy too. Weird....
Thank you for your video. I really want to purchase the 6000 piece Panorama Hemisphere Heye Puzzle. However, now I am worried about the loose fit. I will only put together once, frame & hang. What is your opinion of possibly losing my mind on that endeavor? 😳🤯🤪
Do it ones and frame it im doing a 1000 piece puzzle of Lighthouse La Jument by HEYE and im working on this for 3 weeks and im not finished because ther is so much water and sky and you can't see where all the Pieces go. The only thing which was easy was the Lighthous (23 Pieces).

Hi Peter! I respond to all my comments. :) Thanks for your suggestion. Doing puzzles on camera is extremely time consuming (Not to mention the editing process). I also work full time and I'm in my final year for school, so I don't have that much spare time to do many puzzles. Maybe in the future, but for now getting one (sometimes two) videos a week seems like a little victory.
I picked up my first puzzle as an adult only recently, a 1000 piece from Heye, and I have to say it's been a bit frustrating. The motive is great, but the quality feels subpar. The fit is loose, as you mentioned, but I also find that the tips bend way too easily. Makes me question the longevity, in particular after taking it apart, which it doesn't seem to handle too well, sadly. The glare also made it difficult, especially as we don't have too many hours of daylight here in Norway at this time of year. I bought two more from the same brand before I'd finished the first, but I think I'll return them to the store and pick up a couple of Ravensburger ones instead.
I hate it when different pieces fit in different places. Ravensburger and Jumbo are my to go to-brands. I don't know if Jumbo is a famous brand around the world, but here in the Netherlands it's one of the best you can get. But nothing can top Ravensburger. Each piece is unique and you can move like 20 connected pieces without a problem.
They do have a lot of nice pictures and good cartoon selections but awful interlock. I prefer Jumbo and would only buy Heye if I really like the picture.

Are Heye puzzles all one piece cut? I have 1000 piece "Seashore" on my list but if it's all one cut, I don't know.
No they are standard cut but I will say about 80% of the puzzles I've done have been 2s
Lovely video, but i suggest to get an for light to help with the darker puzzles.
I couldn't use a light with the darker pieces because the glare made it impossible to see. There is a light directly above my table.
I haven't done this brand before, I just know they also have triangular boxes which is a very interesting design choice!
I saw that too! I kind of like it, but I'd probably find it annoying and hard to store.

I had trouble with Heye's glare as well, especially on the darker pieces. Welcome to puzzling! I love Ravensburger!

The images are beautiful, but yeah their interlook leaves a lot of room for error.
That cat looks really good for his age.
He does, although he has lost a lot of his muscle mass. He is hard of hearing, gets confused a bit and can't really jump anymore.
