    I've really enjoyed this video and when you pulled the motor. I miss the 1950 Willy's pickup I had in my twenties. It had an AMC 232 I-line six cylinder in it. The rest was all stock.

    Many years ago I had a poorly running Ford Fiesta that I had gone right through trying to get it to run right, I had rebuilt the carb but I finally got so frustrated that I replaced the carb with a new one and it transformed the car, from that point on it became reliable and a pleasure to drive. It just goes to show that unless you have micrometers and engineering experience it’s just better to replace an item once you’ve taken all the other variables into consideration. Great job on the Jeep, I look forward to seeing you do a little road trip in it soon.

      Yes, I agree about the carb. Rebuilding would have been expensive and uncertain. Replacing it was the best way to go this time. Thanks for the comment and support as always.

    Nice job buddy sounds great. Don’t know about that hose between the carburetor and air cleaner need to check that out material doesn’t seem right!

    Can you make a video when you fix the door latches. My 1961 Willy’s Wagon doors don’t latch very well, lol

    Did you figure out the oil leak on the floor from episode 1 maybe it was episode 2?

    • @AntiqueCarsandStuff
      @AntiqueCarsandStuff  3 месяца назад

      It was just the external crankcase breather tube dripping oil.
