Bruno better stop smoking though! I'm glad you mentioned that this was truly LIVE because I've been trying to debate that point to some people who think it was pre-recorded, on the Bruno Mars' Official Video Channel. I've sang since I was a little girl and am very familiar with LIVE sound with the ad libs, the runs, the special vocal affects. Not to mention that Bruno is best when he's LIVE. Some just are, like Michael Jackson. It's a gift! So you confirming that it was for certain, LIVE, just brought it home. Silk Sonic sure put everyone else to shame that night. Have you critiqued their Little Richard tribute yet? Oh one last thing, when watching a video, no matter how good the music is, don't close your eyes because you may miss tasty bits ! Just sayin...😁

This is how you know it’s live. Watch Bruno on the Chorus lines. He moves the microphone to and from his mouth on the lines. There is softness in his voice it’s close and when he is in power mode it’s further back not to over power the music.

Mahalo guys....y'all were pretty perfect too! There's a feeling that Bruno may've seen a voice coach after 2017 to help him better protect his instrument, may've actually given him a fuller/richer sound too. Anyways, maybe we can all help bring back "real" music again soon.

Even better live. 🔥🔥🔥🔥thought I'd watched this reaction so glad to have not missed. Heard them playing this song in behind a commentary on the Olympics last week. Just the instrumental. Don't care where I hear it just enjoying it being out there now, and hopefully as a classic for a long time to come. Caressing the beat is a great Analogy. It's live and he proves this by changing it up... so talented.

Like everything else he done so far, but just a little more magical for the kid in us. So often he has great messages in his music but this is written by Mike Renzi in 2005. I think it was released or aired in 2011. 🐨👑👏🏻

I was looking for this comment. They kept stopping it and talking so they really couldn’t hear the changes Anderson and Bruno made in the song. It made it hard to enjoy.
You know that under “fair use” you don’t have to pause that much to prove your video is transformative content.. not sure if you had a bad experience in the past or just being cautious, but the pausing is excessive. I understand why you do it, but maybe look at other reactions that don’t get taken down. If you’re trying to monetize this for your own gain, they will eventually get claimed by the record company or publisher anyway (I work for one). You can’t legally make money off of reaction videos to copy written music, unless it’s via donations like patreon. Just a little advice. Pausing is fine, but people don’t want to watch a ruined song, and if you’re understandably trying to protect yourself, it’s a bit overboard
Well fair use doesn't work all the time and some of our videos are still blocked from fair use. But we will take a look into solving this issue
