all of the british media is blowing the Max-Lando fiasco out of proportion, infact just a while back at the FIA drivers press conference Lando very clearly said that Max should not apologise to him and he did not expect him to apologise as well. He also mentioned that what he said after the race was something he said at the heat of the moment and once thngs cooled down he realized he did not mean it hence he did not want Max to apologise and that he and Max spoke after the race. He also said he enjoyed racing with Max at Austria.. So all of the british media can go watch the FIA drivers press conference and sulk.

Yet he already made sure all press heard his Max hate and ran that narrative. And then Stella did it on top refering to 2021…
And hear Lando’s full radio of the race…
Lando was full of anger and hate towards Max. Threatening to break the friendship and stuff.
The radio messages yelling that Max should get penalties for moving under braking as well…
Only now, 1 week on, he PLAYS THE NICE GUY cos they race at SILVERSTONE……
The damage in the press, on ALL SOCIAL MEDIA, incl d@aththr@ats, the hate fueling has been done….
You will hear the crowd boo Max even louder this weekend COS OF LANDO’s ATTITUDE AND STELLA’s…..

Senna's quote was literally used by Hamilton after crashing iirc... When Senna used it to justify purposefully crashing into Prost to win.
Drivers like Shumacher were also dirty like Senna. Hell, fighting elbows out is generally what everyone worships and goes "waah cars too wide, they can't fight like this anymore" - but the second anyone does it, the crying and penalties begin.
Y'know how commentary calls DR "the last of the late brakers" and shows clips of him dive bombing in highlights while showing corners?
Highlights of the guy locking his tyres while screaming up the inside, forcing BOTH CARS off the track, sometimes with contact, and then taking the lead?
      Wild to me.
Imagine if Max, Piastri, George, etc. pulled that bs? It would be calamity.

Anyone who didn't see it coming understands nothing about racing and about max. Taking the hypocritical english side on this one is just being ignorant. In the end both were equally at fault. And to be honest #LandoNorris showed his inexperience as he could have kept pressuring #MaxVerstappen into a mistake instead of being all banzai, since being all banzai on max gets you what lando got. Now max extended his lead further by 12 points to 81 points over lando, meaning that lando lost and max won.
In hindsight, the dotardic stewards should have timely informed the teams that Lando had a 5 second penalty. That would have made both @LandoNorris and @MaxVerstappen relax a bit since Lando would've known that 1st place was out of reach and max would've known that 1st place was his. Thus, no unnecessary clashes.

Some people still feel robbed because Max in Abu Dhabi 2021 got very lucky when Latiffi in a Williams crashed and caused a safety car. Yes Hamilton was almost half a minute in front of Max but also because they didn't pit. Thus Max got behind him on fresher tires. Normally you let all the lapped cars unlap themselves but that would cause an safety car finish. Let me remind people that earlier that year in Belgium due to heavy rain the race was finished after the safety car where Max got half points. In the following drivers meeting all teams and that includes Mercedes asked Masi to do whatever possible to not have races finish, while there was a safety car present. You can think what you want what Masi decided (only to unlap cars between Lewis and Max and have the safety car immidiatly go away. But to blame/dislike Max for that is just unfair.

Oh do I miss seeing you around the track mr Jordan. I think you guys nailed with the Max situation.. Finally 2 men who know what they are talking about and at least being fair. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to you guys. I so hope F1 doesn't turn into a clinical sport where all these expensive cars with in them very expensive drivers, drive around in a big line all following each other delivering one boring race after the other... The races Max has been involved in where there was a fierce battle all had a 10 as far as entertainment value. I think it is exactly what the sport needs. He will drive at the Max every lap in every single race he is part of. That is what sets him apart from probably anyone on the grid at the moment.
There is a reason why we regard Senna, Schumacher as legends.. They gave everything they had every single race, every single minute they were driving. I think Max is the same...
If you want to pass max on track better make sure you have at least some room left or buffer because he will defend his position. As he should. I am so disguisted by most of the commentators and a lot of the english press after last weeks race dragging max' legacy through the mud as if he is the worst things that ever happened to the sport. Au contraire..
It is great to hear a breath of fresh air again from two amazing guys. Not because they agree with me.. But because they are right.

Lewis goes to the inside and then what? Both simultaneously open the corner back up together. I said that was merely one example and Hamilton got a penalty for pushing max wide at the apex not moving to widen the corner. Also who exactly drove into who? Landos front wheel hit maxs rear. Go watch the drivers press conference today and see how many of them said yeah that wasn’t bad at all compared to others I’ve seen that go unpunished but sure go on

Lando still needs to mature in fighting for the lead. And after the incident just get on with it and not moan and being childish about it. Max is like Senna and Schumi, rough and agressive that's how you win.

Agreed. Lando still slips into sim racer mode in the real car. The stuff he was trying is very sim lobby like. Unfortunately, think Lando is gonna be a DC, Riccardo, Bottas..he'll win alot of races, lots of podiums, but the WDC will be just out of reach

@@SaabJitsu I think Lando has got the natural talent but not (yet) the like "extra" that you need to be at the very top. But also if McLaren got the best car next year, he might as well be WC so... Although if Oscar gains more experience, like saving his tyres and stuff, he can be up there. We see already in quali he is on Lando his level just on pure speed.

@@justme7446Agreed, that last 1% that can't be taught. You either have it or you don't like a musician or actor. Make no mistake, Lando is VERY good just not sure if he has that 1%. His body language and eyes are very telling in the post race interviews, especially Monaco last year when Oscar won the sprint, he knew he had an inner team battle coming his way the next few years and the methodical way Oscar approaches driving it may be sooner than later.

Britt’s make up the vast majority of the F1 employees and track stewards. The bias is embarrassing for the sport. Glad to hear these two Britt’s can be objective. Love the Britt’s but the F1 media has vilified Max unnecessarily because he’s dominating the British sport. It’s not a British sport any longer it’s a global sport with a global audience. It’s not golf! It’s open wheel racing. Every driver defends aggressively. Every driver will shoot a gap if give. The fact that a track steward is is British and a GP driver leveled the penalty smacks of bias.

There is no wrong what Max did or what Lando did.

He is finished, just filling that 2nd merc seat, everybody was shit canning Vettle in his later years and also Ricciardo this year but since 2022 really, Hamilton has been average at best. That's 3 seats that could be filled. Well 4 because on Bearmans results he shouldn't get a seat either
