Benny Blanco (who used to be a record producer) decided that he didn't wanted to be in the back anymore and now he's huge. But usually most edm producers will want their names on the title. And from 2010-now producers are taking over and aren't in the back. They put their names without crediting the singer which is amazing. 16:50 in case anybody tried playing it and realised it sounds different, the chord here is actually Ebmaj9, not D# (or Eb) min9. The former has a blissful/peaceful feeling - you’ll hear it in a lot of jazz/soul/bossa nova - while the latter has a sort of poignant melancholy. That’s how I remember the differences anyway :)
    The differences lies in the 2nd and 4th notes of the chord:
    Ebmaj9 = Eb G Bb D F
    Ebmin9 = Eb Gb Bb Db F

    This was so amazing to see. There is so much I still need to wrap my head around, but its stunning for me to see how one of Macs songs is structured and put together.

    This song just hit different, I think I may have listened to this one the most. Thank you so much for doing this video, it's really fun to see where the sample came from and how you've used it, I've always wondered what the i-i-i-i- i-i- i-i-i-i- a-a--a- a-a-a a-a-a-a was and it's always fun to discover new (old) artists

    I googled to find maybe a reddit post explaining a bit of what makes the song sound so good, and then I found a whole 45 minute video deconstructing it :o. Both surprised and not at all surprised to find that Disclosure is behind it. Amazing video
