I had issues with caterpillars too, what worked for me was Monterey LG6332 Bacillus Thuringiensis, it kills them after a few treatments. I must warn you that I am a new gardener and not an organic gardener, I have no idea if there is any risk to using it, I only know it works. I did not use this for the caterpillars on my tomato plant, those I caught really early and hand-picked them off. I only used the chemical on flowers and I followed the directions exactly.
