Julie, you just continue to bring the gifts. Thank you soooooo much for this. I can't even count how many times I was slack-jawed at the stuff Sean does in this routine.
I've seen this guy at air shows myself, and I've always thought he's got one of the most insane set of moves in the air! During elementary school, my friend's dad was a pilot and actually flew the chase plane used in a video about Sean D. Tucker, which is how I first learned of him. Never ceases to amaze me what he can do!
I brought some equipment for the Blue Angels at a Airshow and I watched Sean go through his practice routine a day before the Airshow. It was just awesome to see him practice his routine.
Tucker's airplane, the Oracle Challenger III biplane, is claimed to produce more than 400 horsepower, and weighs only 1,200 pounds. The Challenger III is equipped with a unique set of wings that use 8 ailerons instead of 4. The tail on the airplane is modeled after the tail used on high-performance radio control airplanes.
