I am not a real estate investor, but I beleive rezoning is fundamental to getting more housing and lowering the cost of housing for people. Thanks for sharing.
Great job, thanks for sharing. I've been brainstorming and have grand visions for grand luxury residential & commercial real estate development. Much of the land i see where the potential for this has been agricultural now for sale. Seeing how you manage to operate and handle yourself, the type of opposition and their arguments was very educational .Again many thanks.
this was great information it's interesting to see one of the planning commissioners didn't understand the difference between RN1 and RN2? Or was he just clarifying it for the record? also help me understand your second hurdle, from what I understand you then have to present your final plans to the city council for what purpose if the rezoning was issued?
Am looking at the properties lot lines on zillow AND seeing the google street view of it... Thats plenty of space. Tear down that house and build a 5th unit lol
I have 2 .15 acres that I own in Chattanooga that I would love to rezone to build multi family . I’m learning now to make the move soon. I’m raising private capital currently and looking into best land use.
Thanks for the kind words - as I am working to build viewers and subscribers - I do ask you like the video, subscribe to the channel, recommend the channel to your friends and let me know if you have a specific real estate topic that you want me to comment on in Victor's View.
curious on rezoning 2 acres to residential/agriculture for a homestead... zoning is weird. What's the point of a small house on 2 acres if you cannot do anything with it. OOH BOY 2 acres of grass to mow....
What do you do when the zoning department says they will not rezone your land to residential from commercial giving you the lame excuse being because you might turn it to commercial later on. is it legal for them to say that to you when they should be able to turn it residential when there is no building on the lot and it’s undeveloped. And the area can be zoned for commercial or residential? Anybody got any answers of what I can do now after buying this land. My best advice is stay as far away from Charleston West Virginia especially Marmet West Virginia right next to Charleston. I repeat it’s the worst place to buy property.
That accidents are waiting to happen is probably what made them really change it. God don't like ugly and it was people she were talking the same age and older than her as well as talking about someone the same age. So they will not take accidents waiting to happen. Especially someone that's been in the area for more than 30 years. Wow she had the nerves but they all do so I hope she and her friends are pleased with the addition and value added to their homes.
Why looking at the first one. Wow we don't own anything seems like without someone getting a group of people that wants to have some control in what goes on with what you own. Lord Have Mercy on us all. Got to have patience with the nosy that want to keep agee tradition.
You’re a pioneer. We need to rezone these single family zones to allow for more lower cost housing for all

I’m a young RE developer than this video filled me with so much excitement! Glad the board decided to rezone!

This video was great - how can rezone a submerged land? What zoning is best to rezone to?
I’m trying to do the exact opposite: commercial to residential.
She said there are accidents waiting to happen. WOW. WOW
Great video Victor, thanks for sharing! very educational. Is there a way to reach out you for further insights on this subject?

To the lady at the beginning: Meeting the commissioner with a rebuttal when he stated a fact is not a good way to get what you want…

I’m in Knoxville I can’t believe I found a local. I would love to connect.
Came here for the subject matter, left a better professional.
