Maid cafes are a love-hate thing for me. I want to go to one, maybe even work in one, they are so adorable! But, I have social anxiety disorder, so I would be very embarrassed and scared in there, both if I were a customer or employee.
You can go to doctor bro I'm sure they can prescribed you to some medication I also have social anxiety disorder and Zoloft been helping me overcome my disorder.
***** Yeah, my doctor actually recommended me to a therapist to determine if I have social anxiety disorder and/or depression, but my mom refuses to take me because she says teenagers don't get emotional disorders, they are just all whiny and pretending to be the victim so they can be the center of attention. ;( I want to figure out if I have social anxiety disorder. (I try to say "possibly" and "self-diagnosed" about my "shyness", but it is clearly social anxiety disorder. I once had a panic attack where i was struggling to breathe and shaking uncontrollably for half an hour because my mom wanted me to call a trucking company. I do things like that a lot, I even struggle to call my friends on the phone, I have to take deep breaths and mentally prepare myself for any situation before I hit call. But she refuses to accept it may be a biological problem. She thinks my anxiety attacks caused by a social phobia are being done for attention.)

I don't want the same thing happen in college so they were able to help me find a good therapist and the doctor believed it and got me Zoloft and now I'm having so much in College. Your mom shouldn't be a bitch about it (sorry) and should be helping you, was it because of money issues or something? Do you have Insurance?

My mom and dad just really hate me (actually, they are abusive. They beat me down emotionally and on the rare occasions I stand up for myself, they hit me). They think every single thing I do is for drama and attention. Like, when I was having the panic attack at work and was screaming, crying, and shaking because I was so afraid of making the call, my mom was screaming at me, yanking on my hair, pushing me, etc. Then, I got yelled at later for causing a scene to get attention and reminded that they are not impressed by that BS and I need to learn to stop thinking I need to be the center of attention. I have been laughed at by my parents for struggling to breathe after a panic attack and get yelled at every time my social anxiety holds me back. I was shy when I was little (it may or not have been anxiety, but I don't think it was as bad as now for me. I know at least I still feared talking on the phone back then, I wouldn't pick it up even if my dad was standing in front of me showing me it was him calling) and my parents, instead of teaching me to solve my anxiety/shyness, they taught me how to pretend I don't have it and hide it all so that I don't embarrass myself and my parents, which they expect me to still do now in all situations. There's an extremely high class butler restaurant (and a really crappy one called Butler's Cafe with underpaid foreign guys) called Swallowtail Butler Cafe and I want to go there SOOO badly and be treated like a princess XD

the maidreamin i went to in osaka allowed me to take pictures of the food but if the camera ever tilted away from it, they were quick to reprimand me. so it really depends on the cafe.

Guys, some people aren't as outgoing as others. Some wallflower types have a blast, and don't WANT to be the center of attention. I am one - I don't want the spotlight on me. She was having fun, with her friends, experiencing japan. Just just doesn't react the same way as more wild and outgoing people.

+The_Echo I know the feeling. I think this would be a good way to gradually get over social anxiety though. Like make a goal to go once a month or week and gradually increase until it becomes routine and you're totally comfortable with it.

Some places are really strict about it and won't let you take food pictures either D;

the maidreamin i went to in osaka allowed me to take pictures of the food but if the camera ever tilted away from it, they were quick to reprimand me. so it really depends on the cafe.

Such a cute place! The "make the food delicious" spell reminded me of the spell from Kira Kira PreCure A La Mode. They would always say "Kirakirakiraru kirakiraru oishiiku nare!" to make food taste good.

Idk, I love you both Sharla and Miranda so much, I'm so glad to see you together

Guys, some people aren't as outgoing as others. Some wallflower types have a blast, and don't WANT to be the center of attention. I am one - I don't want the spotlight on me. She was having fun, with her friends, experiencing japan. Just just doesn't react the same way as more wild and outgoing people.
