Was looking around a rack for my drz400sm, so i search for DIY motorcycle rack and damn.. The amount of work and time needed to to fabricate one i know why it's so expensive now. Thanks for making this video.
How do you like your custom VStrom seat now that you’ve (hopefully) put some miles on it? I’ve still got the stock one on my ‘07 and my cheeks get pretty numb after about 45 minutes.
Absolutely love it! The stock seat was getting pretty painful. The custom seat gets a bit uncomfortable eventually but it doesn't cause the pain that the stock seat did. I feel it was definitely worth the money and time!
Well done thanks alot. I'm glad you show lot of detail on your shop videos.

Thank you! I love making stuff! Nice thing is that I'm never hesitant to change, modify or remake it if needed!
Very nice.
1/2 conduit is much lighter and will hold anything the rear frame will hold. the lighter the better.
It's also galvanized and not recommended to be welded.
@@shortattentionspangarage1312 blast off the galvanized coating, weld then paint. no problem
I always wanted to make a big booty holder thanks for the tutorial
