MayMay, you are a born teacher! No one explains the steps of a project better than you do! You definitely found your niche in life! Those of us who watch you are so blessed to have you teaching us! 🥰🥰🥰
I just found you about 2 weeks ago. I’m OBSESSED (and broke) with Folios!! Finally have time to attempt my first right now!! So excited 🤩 You are an awesome instructor and I appreciate you!
Now you've done it, Maymay! You've created an obsessed group of folio makers. I cannot stop making these. I even created a new one so I could keep it vertical with pockets at the bottom. I can't wait to see this one finished.
I am loving the thicker one inch spine and I love those extra pages added in. Looking forward to part 2. Love folio's and glad you keep doing/revising them! Hugs, Brenda
I recently discovered this rabbit hole and am enjoying your amazing library of videos! For this folio, I think strengthening the closure flap with a second piece of card stock prior to adding magnets or thin Velcro dots may be helpful, as the flap will be pulled open quite often.
OMG Maymay. OKK Need NEED to say right off….cause this Chatty Cathy goes off on a gangent and or runs down that proverbial scrappy/crafty rabbit hole!! ……so Knead…wait….duh…..NEED to say YOU NEVER CEASE TO AMAZE with another Brilliant idea and INGENIOUSLY come up with yet the perfect 1” spine FOLIO. This was fun to watch and see it all come together. And I do think the 3 magnet closure as you showed is perfectly perfect!! Thanks for your Outstanding Tutorial and sharing your Tremendously Terrific Tips, Tricks & Techniques !! YOU SERIOUSLY ROCK!!! Joan Smith
@@tamthaluehrs OMG. (Blushing) Gosh you sure melted my heart and I’m ☺️!! Gosh my sweet little Angel 👼 you definitely made my day, seek, month year!! 🙏😇😇🙏💕😘😘😘😘😘
I was so intimidated with folios, but always love them. I think they're so amazing. In my family I'm designated as the family photographer. And I would send just the pictures in an envelope to my family after we have some type of event. But now because of your teaching skills, which you truly have a gift, I can send them to them as a gift in the folio. I'm so excited to do one and see my first reaction from of course, my sister! I know she will truly appreciated it beyond words❣️ thank you for what you do. Stay safe and be well.❤
Just watched you on craft roulette. You did great. FYI, I announced to an elementary school room that I was born in our nation's capital "Warshington" DC. 😂 it's funny now
OMG MayMay!I have been using the nuvo magnets for all of my folios! Not until watching this video (the second time) did I ever know that Nuvo included the adhesive to stick the magnets down. I saw that paper, but through it away before! Lol. Thank you!
I've had a Dream Idea! I have some beautiful pre-printed acetate sheets that I'm never sure what to do with. I dreamt I used them for the additional sheets on this folio! It looked awesome in my dream!
I too, am folio obsessed because of your videos and I LOVE them!!! I have so much 12x12 paper that I will never use up in making cards so I took your 6x8 folio and cut the measurements down to make a 5x7 folio. That way I can cut my 12x12 sheets into four 5x7's and use my paper. I was really proud of myself, thanks to you 😄. I can't wait to see this one decorated. I have made the 6x6, 6x8, the big 9x7 and now a 5x7. So much fun.
.I am not obsessed with folios but I love watching you make and decorate them. I have made a few but this is the one I will be making as gifts for the holiday. Thanks for your tutorials. You and your team are awesome!
Love his folio. I used some Sizzix paper (not from monthly folios). Used same score lines. On page inserts, I also scored at 11”. I cut one 3/4 in excess off, used other 3/4” flap instead of binding strip. So, my folio is only 8.25 vs 8.5. Not enough that it makes a difference.
Quick question, if you please. What is the weight of the white cardstock? It kinda "sounds" thicker than 65-pound stock. I was thinking of using Lawn Fawn 100 heavy weight in white . Thanks!
Hi, we use anything from 85lb Carta Bella to 110 lb Paper Accents cardstock. it depends on the brand that you are using and the type of cardstock. A heavy weaight may be too thick once you add all the pockets, insets and embellishments.
This looks like just what I’m looking for to make a book for a baby’s first year, but I think I need 2 more pages inside for 12 months. Can you suggest how I could add those, or is there another folio you have done that would accommodate 12 pages inside?
Love your folio instructions!✂️✂️

I would really like to see this folio with a couple more pages. Love this❤
Maymay. I love the folios you show us how to assemble the folio, how to decorate but I haven't seen a folio being used. Love making your folios.
Hi here is a folio that shows how to add the pictures in a folio, thanks

Maymay, which of your folios holds the most pictures? I’m going to need one that holds quite a few (lots) pictures. Thank you. Sue C Brannon

As always, a wonderful folio! I may have missed it…what weight cardstock was used for this one? Thanks for sharing!
Hi this is the Paper Accents Premium Cardstock bit.ly/4260yri that is 110 lb, thanks
I thought you mentioned a “new” magnet, not the Basic Grey ones that are linked. Did I misunderstand? LOVE this expanded folio! ❤️❤️❤️
Hi. we are currently sold out of the other magnets, thanks
@@tamthaluehrs What is the brand name, please? They look fantastic!
I think she said Nuvo?
@@sheilakuykendall8686 Thank you.
@Ruth yes these are the Nuvo magnets, we have them on order and hope they will be back in stock soon, thanks
Where can I find part 2 of this tutorial?
Hi here is the link for part 2:ruclips.net/video/GXUNQMdAwUQ/видео.htmlsi=oggnHqSrrBlS72hV
i am suprised you didnt use chipboard for more of a sturdy book form
Hi once you get all the pattern paper, photo mats and photos the folio is really sturdy and you won't need chipboard, thanks
