Sure, you can make a different spine or even folio to accommodate. This was just to show several different options to choose from for this particular folio.

I don't do scrapbooks or cards, I make journals/junk journals, but came across one of your videos while surfing RUclips. It happened to be the one where you made this folio. I was hooked! I have made several and turned them into ephemera folios by adding more pockets. Also, as I was watching this one, it seems you could possibly turn those 1/4 inch gussets into 1/2 inch? I haven't tried it, but thought it might be possible and therefore give some much needed room for all those photos. Totally enjoying your videos and love your accent! ;) (Texas girl here)

I mentioned earlier on another page how I am totally addicted to these folios! I don't think I ever enjoyed making any paper crafts as much as these. I made my 6th one tonight and very happy with it as I tried the waterfall pages and I only made 4 pages and did make the closure as well...so much enjoyment... and was into it so much that I forgot the time it's 2:15 am here and I'm finished with it. Soooo happee. I am doing more for different occasions and might even make a few for my crafty friends??? lol. It's hard to stop!!! I will send in photos or videos of these two without photos, unless I have them developed by then. Thanks so much for all your crafty videos! You have no idea how much pleasure you bring to others! This came out nice. I made these folios as a birthday card and I didn't even take a pic. I also made 2 of these folios as father's day gift cards. Now I can put the booklets in one of them. Please do tab closure. I was also wondering if you could just change your score marks to make the gussets larger and the front flap over a little smaller or start with a longer paper and score a larger gusset but keep the front flap the same width.
@@cathierayes4226 That's what I'm trying, scoring at 3, 9, and 9 1/2. Makes the flap 1/4" smaller but it still seems to work. That being said, I'm in the middle of experimenting with a waterfall so we shall see!
Do you have a video on making a folio style to hold a card set….cards, envelopes and matching tags? Maybe turn the spots into folders instead of pages for photos. I love your videos
Love it! When I was teaching we made "waterfall" books but we called them "step books." Each page had a different part of the subject being taught. It let all children use their talents to learn the best they could... Whether it was using words or words and illustrations, etc. Love this as a folio!!!

I really want to see a flip through of all the fully decorated folios you’ve made, particularly the Summer one you did earlier. Love the ways to add more photos. The waterfall was my favorite, I think at least in without decorations as it is now.
I planned to share this project as my make and take at a ladies craft weekend in September, and have us add the photos from the weekend in the folios. Thanks for way to add more photos. I love this! Would you be willing to figure adjustments to your folio measurements to make the spines wider to accommodate all these fun additions? Then we could choose a chunky folio for more pics or a thinner folio for less pics. We are loving your folios! Thank you for sharing your methods and techniques.
Thank you for all of these options and for all you and your posse does. I hope you could show us a smaller version for the 4x6 photos...a brag book style for new parents and grandma's. I don't mind seeing my neighbors new grand baby but 10-25 photos would be over kill for me. LOL
Add room on the gusset to accommodate the extra thickness. There is room on the yellow flap and you could add a piece to extend the yellow flap, if needed.
I would love to see your TAB version. I made a folio for my Great - niece to hold her stickers and photos for her Anime camp. It was so thick the velcro did not work. I added an eyelet to the flap, tied a button onto cord for a wrap around. Wishing now I had thought about a tab... Loving to additions and tweaks!

To lessen the thickness you could ditch the white CS with 4x6 stamp. Just stamp 'photo here" on a smaller piece.

I've been scoring larger gussets and the smaller tab still looks great.

I like the waterfall but agree it's kinda bulky. Good to have all the different techniques to choice from!
