In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

And, as always with Bob, it'll be true. AdBlue is indeed a thing for decreasing NOx emissions in some diesel systems. It is indeed urea and water. Urea is indeed the main nitrogen-containing substance in mammalian urine. It all checks out.
@@konayasai AdBlue is DEFINITELY not just "pig urine" and water. Google it, it's been debunked, AdBlue is actually a high purity chemically produced carbamide solution dissolved in high purity de-ionised water. Anything other than a high purity solution will cause the porous head of the SCR to fail just like limescale would in a kettle. Putting urine from any species into your machine's AdBlue tank would cause irreversible damage to the SCR. I get the joke but let's not go around and say "it's true".
In the US we call it DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) and It's available at every truck stop pump on the trucker side, because it's required by law for emissions.

Lee Mack is an acquired taste for some. He's so quickfire and can' seem to hold himself back for any retorts that come into his head 🤣
@@iliketrains3495 yes but Alex mentioned there was too much hilarious content from him over the course of the week or so of filming so the vast majority hasn’t been seen
obsessed with how sally was dedicated to flirting with EVERYONE. her sexuality knows no bounds.
In one interview, she describes how she wasn't sure about the water cooler moment, and she had like 10 men around her pressuring her to go through with it (said for comic effect rather than workplace harassment vibes). After that she totally leaned into it for the rest of the series and it was a treat to watch!

i believe she was going through a divorce at the time so that could've influenced things a little.

Only since I was a teenager; I’ve had a crush on Sally since the mid-to-late 90’s, when I first saw her on ‘I’m Alan Partridge’ haha.

I loved Sally in this season. you can tell she just wanted to enjoy herself the whole time. It was such good fun to watch
Nish absolutely losing it is the best thing on english television. Even just a few seconds of it, breaks any mood and makes you giggle
It is a crime against humanity to ever edit Nish’s uncontrolled laughter out of anything.
I envy him. I wish I could just openly laugh like that.
I had forgotten how absolutely crazy Sally was in this series. She was such an unexpected surprise for me this series. :D

I absolutely love Sally. Cute, smart, funny, sweet and naughty and compassionate.
I looked at bob's claim of pigs' urine in adblue. Adblue does contain urea but not specified to pigs as far as I can find it. 32.5 % is urea or piss, 67.5% is deionized water.
That's a lot more pissy then actual piss. Cause urine is like 95% water and 3% urea. So then Adblue is 10x concentrate piss.
It's made industrially, no pig piss is involved, lol
I also looked into it and the AA says it's man-made urea - pigs' urine wouldn't be pure enough apparently.
Is that the same as sweat?

I've seen most of these before, but always great to see an outtake collection from the best series.
Also Mark's yoghurt kick not making it to TV is even harsher when you realise he was involved in a tiebreaker, but he got the Fred The Swede picture one instead.

Season 5 is my favourite. Everyone seemed to get along and had so much fun.
If there was one line that could represent Taskmaster contestant experience, it would be - "...and I don't like how I feel now."

I'm about 7 series into this show now, and I have to say that 5 is my favorite so far.
"What the f*** mate!?" has got to be one of the best comebacks of the whole show.
There's been some amazing series but this one is still my favourite. The contestants work so well together but they also completely hold their own by themselves.

Absinthe is insanely strong! it can be as much as 75% ABV. He was definitely lit up.

Purina has an entire product line that's "high octane". There's:
High octane "depth charge"
High octane "fitter"
High octane "champion drive"
High octane "ultra full"
I'm impressed that Sally was able to find the Purina high-octane product line from her lovely suburban London home. And now that I've researched Purina's products, the Google algorithms probably think that I am raising pigs.
Also, who comes up with these insane names? Does Purina's marketing staff eat their own high-octane fuel?

I suspect........none at all. 😅
Absinthe is super strong. It can be as much as 75% ABV. I think Alex basically ate a shot glass worth of absinthe. I think they definitely felt a bit of the alcohol!
Sally said that Alex's face was purple, it's just super strong.

I think Sally Phillips had the most fun out of any contestant.
These were all so good. The cut scenes are better than anything other shows keep.

greg's quick wit on display with these outtakes, taking sally's escalation of "i was coming on to sally", to another level of double entendre, "i'm nearly 50 years of age sally, so you'll have to be very near me." brilliant. sally announces she's going to start flirting with aisling instead of greg, greg; "suddenly the rejection becomes a win." another gem.
A minute in and I've got tears streaming down my face.
