The film captures Delhi of the early 1980s
The space of Delhi is explored through its less crowded streets, much spacious and greenery surroundings; it is hardly congested with traffic unlike now. It is captured through landmarks and monuments including Delhi University, Defence Colony, Vasant Vihar, Lodhi Gardens, India Gate, Mandi House, and Tughlakabad Fort. In the song 'Pyaar Lagawat Pranay Mohabbat', the three friends can be seen roaming around the streets, landmarks, and ruins of Delhi through 'Kali Ghodi' (motorbike) in a much slapstick style; even getting a challan for tripling. In another scene Neha can be seen walking on the streets of Delhi (Mandi House) consumed in her own thoughts, carefree.
