A bit of a correction (and perhaps further information.) "The Next Mutation" script was just the original draft in 1994 written by Kazam writers (Christian Ford and Roger Soffer) auditioned for writing jobs as first-time writers. They were hired to write a totally new draft titled "The Foot Walks Again" in 1995. This draft would've had the turtles traveling into a dystopian dimension (not dissimilar to Back to the Future 2 or Super Mario '93.) A dimension they never exited in. This dark New York City featured an evil April O'Neil, "Kasey" Jones with electromagnetic hands, and the 5th turtle, Kirby. Kirby would've been a survivalist in this corrupted NYC, and was more hardcore than the other turtles. Now overrun and populated by advanced Foot Soldiers with high-tech guns, led by a leader named "Fang" as well as The Shredder, who would've been alive in this alternate reality and is maskless with long hair. This script would've taken elements of the City at War comic. The script featured many high-tech bionic gear that many of the villains carrying. Instead of The Elite, the main villain was a new character named "Spyder" who would've been this nano tech teal, blue and purple humanoid who absorbs many metal junk to become "Nano-Spyder" and one concept art online featured Kirby fighting him as the turtles are tying to return back to their home dimension, with Kirby sacrificing himself to save the brothers he never had in order to kill him.
The Leo mutation seems like the only one that wasn't thought out. The rest make sense, but his feels un-inspired... sadly it was probably the first one they thought of
OMG I love Venus de Milo!!! Admittedly not the design of her in the next mutation has her but something a little more subtle. But the concept is still good, that yeah she could be a result of the existing ooze but if she had like some other outside mutation thing like a form of a magical item or some kind of super natural mutation. But the fact that she was pretty much on her own, and having to learn all these unique and otherworldly knowledge that no one else knows. On top of having her just losing the only person that knew of her existence and then being thrown to find and help others like herself. Takes a lot of courage and strength of character to make that kind of drastic change in a person's life. She also has potential not only in character development in a new character that we've been pretty much seen 4b .But there's the fact that she can add some tension between the turtles as far as romantically as well as the dynamic of the group.
Sequel Idea: TMNT: The Fifth Turtle? The four try to contain the chaos as the city is endangered in a fight between Venus, Slash, Zach and Jennika over who is the fifth turtle.
Cracks in the armor? Come on now, we all know what you meant to say and it's not a derogatory comment or racist one. That word is the dictionary it means a break in the chains. Only ignorant people see that were as an insult.
i really liked the 3rd movie, the second movie was terrible, just filled with ads and product placement and super campy acting and bad writing. my best friend said the second movie was his favourite and he didn't like the 3rd movie. I told him to re-watch and he would change his mind.
@@myztklk3v i remember that I liked it a lot when I was a kid, but as an adult i found it pretty boring and a little bit cringey... at least 2 had great costumes and that hilarious vanilla ice scene... In any case, the first one is way better than the others. Like, it's really really good, and with the plus side of being pretty faithful to the comics

We’re just gonna gloss over that “evil” April O Neal had her bazongas hanging out?
The puppetry involved in this movie sounds like it'd be a nightmare 😂

Man, I always forget that JoBlo isn't RedEyeReviews and I get so sad when I don't hear that dude's voice.

I remember being in the movie theater and every kid yelled cowabunga at the end.
I realized the masks are not a disguise but a means to tell who is who. 😅
At least in the post-Mirage stuff. They were originally all the same color.
I suppose all their people look alike to you? Racist.
Ooph, this sounds like it would have been horrible. TMNT would not have survived chasing X-Men storylines.
I'm glad they never green lit that movie cause that shit would've sucked....
Sequel Idea:
TMNT: The Fifth Turtle?
The four try to contain the chaos as the city is endangered in a fight between Venus, Slash, Zach and Jennika over who is the fifth turtle.
Also in the 80's cartoon in the last two seasons the turtle's mutation became unstable at one point.
I saw on RUclips video somewhere else that they gave them transformations to rival a little show called Power Rangers...
Turtle Power
That fourth Turtles movie had to have been converted into the Next Mutation show.
We need Kirby
This movie sounds like fever dream madness. Lol
Ninja Turtles 4 sounds crazy!
I'm glad we got the animated TMNT instead. It wasn't great, but at least it didn't use animatronic costumes that got worse per movie.
Yeah but wish we had the live version more
As a paleo-fan, I _am_ mighty intrigued by the design of 'Raptorial Raphael.'
randomly just wondered about why they didn't make a 4th movie
So many trees cutted pizza boxes, build houses from boxes, millions homeless in land of the poor
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles three happened….. killed that run of the franchise
The Studio heads are so dumb. Just make a new TMNT 4 with the Jim Henson Puppets. that the kids and adults would be into. It would be a Movie event!
These mutations ended up in season 9 of the original cartoon.
After how bad the third Ninja turtles movie was. I'm so glad the fourth movie never happened
Maybe this movie will be canonized in a Turtles multiversal project someday? Like what happened with the Nicolas Cage Superman in 'The Flash'.
I would've liked to see the Ninja Turtles aquire the Secondary Mutation instead of a Next Mutation.
1st 2 were great for dif reasons
A shinobi IS a ninja, but a male ninja. Nothing magical about it. A female ninja is kunoichi.
They f*cked up lol
I’m sorry but all I can hear is the voices by @itsreal85 😂
15 billion earned and makers cried 3rd movie flopped
We put people on the moon in ‘69. Why can’t we do this in 2023?
Kirby the mutant turtle?
So terrible.
I thot Michelangelo would’ve gotten more dumber to rival bill s. Preston esquire and Splinter would’ve turned into Snitch Nine because both are rats.
Glad this never happened

The annoying mothers groups destroyed the franchise in 91

both two and three are bad in differente ways...
Casey Jones rules!
@@pablozambrano16 nah, I think 3 was good

If we can get a groundeed Rated "R" Turtles from Nolan, that would be great. I need blood.
