Lmao. Link is so morbid but he made me laugh so hard. Rhett - “You are at the beach and can’t find mom and dad” Link - “Clearly they both drowned” lmao. Love it
This was made during the "stranger danger" moral panic, so I expect that "you see a strange dog or cat in your neighborhood" might have even been meant as a "don't get lured in by a stranger who has an animal"
A lot of people in the 90s still kept their dogs outside chained to a dog house or run, or in a pen. Idk, I guess they could get loose more easily. I remember being taught to stay away from dogs running loose and to not walk up to a strange dog because they could be vicious, and bite or attack you.
When I was little (around 5-6) I went to pet the neighborhood cat and it scratched me and gave me CSD. You can enjoy cats from far away, but only pet them if they’re indoor-only pets.
Perhaps they have dementia, or perhaps they're involved in a feud with either you or someone else and will cause physical or economic harm if given the chance?
Some dogs that wag their tail might still be aggressive and you should ask their owners if it is safe to pet it. That is good advice. Some dogs wag their tail because they are nervous. Better safe than sorry.
I recently put in a bowl that had a pattern of gold hexagons on it and it started sparking. I didn't assume the paint had real metal in it, now i know 😂😂😂
I always lost my mom lol. One time they had to shut the store down in the mall to look for me lol. I escaped from strollers and continued the wandering as I got older. Clearly this was my problem lol
I never got separated from my parents. But I remember vividly one time walking into a Target and throwing up immediately because I was sick; then looking directly up and seeing myself on the store security camera screen in front of a pool of vomit.
I leave this comment a lot, but if you haven't seen it, I recommend Googling "The Chaster Bunny". (Gotta search on Google because it's unlisted on YT.)
In an oblique fashion, this game is also illuminating privilege: the accumulation of “option” cards is a metaphor for the options in life that make all the difference in outcomes. We are not all born with the same opportunities/options in life, and some of us lose options while others gain options. BOOM. This game should be required to be in every household. Or rather, an updated version, and even event or situation specific editions.
I’m honestly surprised his kids have never made that mistake before. I learned a lot of things by doing them lol. I once put a hot dog in the microwave for 10 minutes until it stopped working. Never did that again lmao
I don’t remember this game and I know my family hasn’t played it but my mom gave me a bunch of cards and some of them are from this game. I got those cards when I was 10 and it has taken 14 years to learn what they were from
Definitely a great game, building common sense skills based on instinct. In the back of your mind you know what the "right" answer would be but you have to use the cards that you have been dealt... teaches a lot subconsciously.
Does anyone else wonder if they was a period of time that rhett and link got mad at each other and stopped talking for months or years? They've been friends since 2nd grade. There must have been times when that happened.
Fact: You can actually put metal in most microwaves built after 1978. However, metal blocks a majority of the heat waves generated. That's why some frozen foods (like pot pies) have a very small amount of aluminum foil, which limits the amount of cooking in certain areas. The more you know!
I really want the lunch box, but I can not afford it. It is fine though. Maybe I will find it somewhere someday. This was a really good board game to teach kids smart ways of thinking back in the day :).
This NEEDS to be a series. “Rhett and Link Play Board Games...Incorrectly”
Yes please, this was funny entertaining and made me laugh
@Jeffrey Guinn that would be super hilarious!
Would love to see it👌
Agreed
Omg this is so funny 😂
My new theory is that the kids who had to play this game in the 80s ended up creating Cards Against Humanity when they grew up.
You’re not wrong
Im like wait this is "kid" version cards of humanity lol
Everyone in the youtube comments is to young to remember apples to apples
@@someguy8156 I love Apples to Apples!
@@someguy8156 false 😂
"Leave the dog or cat alone" was the very best and most appropriate answer. Somehow they turned this into a weird version of Cards Against Humanity.
But is it really safe for your mind and soul to leave the dog or cat alone?
I looked up how you're actually supposed to play this game, they're not doing it right but it's funnier this way. 😆
Lmao. Link is so morbid but he made me laugh so hard.
Rhett - “You are at the beach and can’t find mom and dad”
Link - “Clearly they both drowned” lmao. Love it
That really seems like some rhett would say.
It's the safest version of Cards Against Humanity I've ever seen.
Came here to say this. They basically just turned it into Cards Against Humanity.
Apples to Apples is the safest version. This game is just terribly designed.
Apples to Apples you can also turn into a pretty questionable game too. Just sayin.
Not true kids against maturity is the safest version
Yeah lmao
I'm with Rhett. This actually seems like a good game if done well and modernised 😅
Aren't all games good if done well and modernized?
Or at least, it had a good intention behind it.
@@evangailey8314 I'm talking about the premise
@@nunpho lol I know, I was only poking at the obvious.. yes I agree with you comment :)
@@evangailey8314 😖 sorry, usually I'd recognise that but my anxiety is through the roof today 😅

I'm pretty sure there's rabies in America too. Also children might not be able to tell the difference between a dog and a coyote.

Rhett to his son "B-b-bro, you can't do that" 🤣
Meanwhile link's mom is still searching for him at the mall...
Rhett's Mom's top-down camera would have come in handy with the board game!😆
Hilarious observation, haha
Anyone else want to see them do this again as the mythical moms?
What a brilliant idea-!
I miss mythical moms!
Yesss!
Yess. They need to bring back mythical moms!
great idea :D
This is like if a kid asked their parents for Cards Against Humanity and the mom is like, "we have cards against humanity at home"
THIS NEEDS TO BE A MEME NOW
link saying "im glad youre here" is just,,, so nice and comforting
Idk why but
"The stranger's in a car and you're on a big wheel. Don't give them directions"
has me hardcore giggling for some reason
Never realized how soothing it is to watch OTHER people play board games
No Rolls Barred is literally a board game let's play channel. its awesome
smosh has board af which is this but usually more people and tons of other fun games
Link: A Stranger telephones you when you are home alone
Me at 35 living alone: Ignore phone completely like I always do 🤣
That voicemail for Chase was adorable 😊

I am a lifeguard. Yes, sure, go ahead and ask a lifeguard for all of these 😂
People really do think we can solve everything. The amount of random questions or complaints that I get but have no control over is unreal.
I just wanna see them play cards against humanity now. 🤣
Shirtless ;-)
Yes yes yessss, with the crew too!
Let's like it to make them see this!!!
Clearly they both drowned. Best comment up to that point.
was looking for a comment about this. i was CRYING at that
Had that thing happen where I read this as he said it lmao :)
My fav, followed closely by the usage of “give directions if you can, but do not get too close to the car”
genuinely can’t believe locke is 17 and i’m about to turn 18. i started watching gmm when i was 11. time flies
"Clearly they both drowned." The days of Link working for Baywatch are showing here.
Mix in some of these cards in your CAH deck for extra fun
When they got to the "your parents ask you to watch your sibling" one, I yelled "Ask the goblin king to take him away!"
You only have 13 hours to get them back..
Joan London: your kids are being kidnapped
Rhett and Link: let’s talk about that

"Friend offers you beer or wine"

Two grown men encouraging crime and dangerous actions to a bunc of little children, There's nothing better than this channell and show
I never knew that 16 year old lifeguards could score cigs. Thanks Rhett!
The no metal thing in the microwave was crazy. I didn't know until I was almost 18. Surprised I didn't burn the house down
Modern microwaves don't have that problem
There is actually a pretty cool Myth Buster's episode about that.

Link caught what he was setting himself up for when he said “do you wanna be the blonde lady or.. well I like that tank top” 😂😂💀💀
LMAO i noticed that too
This was waaaay funnier than I expected. Thank you for a great laugh.
Link: didn’t we have someone damage our school?
Me: my school was burnt down! Twice! What does that tell you?
My lesson of the day: 16 year old lifeguards can score cigs

Heh, Link hesitating not wanting to say what the other game avatar looked like.
"This must be a bad board game if you can beat it in 15mins"

"Oh..."
Oh my gosh, I played this board game growing up! I vaguely rember how though. Haha
Can confirm. Chase has teh hotness. :) Get it Chase!!

Almost every time Link had a scenario I kept thinking his "Ask your friend to go to the bathroom with you" card would fit in a very humorous way.
