      @ backseat driver yeah those low floor wheels in the car definitely need to raise up the seat to fit the truck cab height!! Thanks for watching! Check out the video on seat install. I may even chop the cap a few inches but don’t want to get all custom glass.

    Looking great. I like your thinking on blending and customizing the dash and interior. If that lower passenger dash area still looks too plain, maybe re-integrate the old glove box door there.

    Just found your channel..I love this kind of build & appreciate the skills it takes to be able to do it in your own garage without a lift...Makes my current 5.0 Jeep CJ swap look like a piece of cake..Keep up the great work!

    Damn nice job. I really like the idea 💡 on the dash. Thats going to look awesome. Having the seats up just far enough so you don't look like a 10 year old driving or the roof 10 feet tall or your legs not reaching the floor pedals is a challenge but very doable. Subscribed !

      Awesome thanks for watching! I’m thinking about chopping the top about 2.5” but not quite sure with some of the variables involved.

    You made the right call od dumping the first bezel. You do a fine job making it but as you said it stuck out too far and looked out of place. You could always build it with fiberglass just for that piece since it's going to be under leather anyway. I love how this truck is turning out and you are so right about the dash, a few of my other favorite channels on YT skimp out on the dash and 8t drives me crazy I mean they will just put some sheet metal on the tope of the dash from the chassis care (late model car) and it just doesn't turn out right even when the do amazing job on the rest of the car. Great job can't wait to see the interior when it's done I have a picture in my head for my dream one and I believe that's where most of the ones on RUclips really give up on and skimp out on.

    • @FactoryFreshChannel
      @FactoryFreshChannel  2 года назад

      Thanks man! Yeah fiberglass is definitely an option I’ve been thinking about if I can’t get the console how I want with sheet metal. I definitely have a vision in my head and hope I can get their but I’m honestly pretty green to sheet metal work like this so we’ll see. I’m enjoying the process though. Thanks for watching!!

    Great concept we did a 2014 mustang body to 50 ford for a guy I absolutely disliked the height of the column on That car !’ if I was to change anything on ur build it would be the low steering column I understand it’s a low floor pan car Just my 2 cents

    • @FactoryFreshChannel
      @FactoryFreshChannel  2 года назад +1

      Yeah I’ve looked at some ideas for raising it up. But you are right that is one of the things you may want to address on a body swap. I would really like to use the stock column for the controls but we’ll see
