A lot of people go to the mall and walk in the morning . I used to do it when I wasn’t working mornings and a lot of people go and it was very social or you could walk alone too and listen to music but it was great people still do it wear I live however our mall is pretty dead most of the time b

we have a very small mall that is completely empty from 6-7am. There's no store open but employees can already enter. Also after 10pm it's open for some more time and it's pure horror.

This is nostalgic, i have a mall in my city that used to be crowded, but now it's empty and getting closed when 2020/2021, and the situation was like in this video.
Well it was empty because the mall was being renovated

It depends alot in which territory the mall existed as how big the metropole / city was in their given country.
In my eyes malls were just a collective big prestige supersupermarket and the small stuffs like decorations mini parks or events or mall-own restaurants could be seen as extinction or liminal the shops are given somewhere else like online but like a mini-play ground or a castle only made special for the mall logo / appeal is unique and it will fade away.

I remember I use to LOVE going to the mall nearest us when I was a kid in the 90s. There was a shaved ice cart by the fountain and I always got half lemon half lime. We'd go every year to take pictures with Santa and the Easter Bunny.
