Wow, you sure have been busy!!! Tons of seedlings and grafted trifoliate, awesome 👏 can’t wait to see how everything grows and everything coming down the road!! 💪🍊
Thank you and yes, we've been extraordinarily busy!! It's going to be awesome having a mini citrus grove here. I would love to show you around one day when things are all established 💪🍊
@@themulberries that would be awesome brother, would love to see your citrus operation in person!!!! You show me yours and I’ll show you mine, lol 😂. 💪🍊
Everything looks good when it's new. Come back in a couple of years time when everything is covered in lichen. But I like your set-up even though it is a bit exposed to strong winds.
Thank you, winds will (and have) definitely be a challenge at times! Since we are renting, a lot of this is built knowing it will be deconstructed eventually.
@@noahz6980 Haha, I believe in you. One day I'll find a cheap piece of land in zones 3-5, plant 10,000 trifoliate orange seeds, and see if any of them survive an extreme Winter. Individual seedlings possess the ability to be more or less cold hardy than average, meaning there could be a variant out there capable of surviving -25°F or some other extreme temperature.
Thank you! Dragon Lime should do well in your zone, it's probably good down to 0°F or even a little lower for brief durations. Likewise, citrandarins, citranges, taitri, and maybe even Dunstan citrumelo should be able to survive in zone 7a.
This is EPIC! Congratulations!
We sure think so! Thank you!
Awesome work!
Thank you!!

@@toughcitrus Sounds like a plan! Haha, that would be awesome, looking forward to it!

"Maybe even a warm zone 5".. I am going to push Trifoliate to a cold zone 5 and we will see about that ;)

Nice setup! How cold hardy can the dragon lime get? We are 7a and have been looking for citrus options
