I graduated HS in ‘76; After God and my Dad, there are just two other men that significantly influenced my formative years in terms of Politics and Culture - Johnny Carson and Don Imus! RIP IMan! Now I’m off to go listen to America’s Anchorman and Doctor of Democracy, El Rushbo!
Imus was really frustrated with these cable backside kissers and pretentious personalities on Fox that he dealt with during his final radio years--it was obvious he longed for his old buddies and all the hot shots battling to get on his show. That last phase of his career--the decline--was tough on him. Still, 50 years in radio is unheard of and never to happen again. He was amazing.
It took a certain personality type to be a news contributor on his show. And, in case it wasn't obvious, Mr Barnes missed big time. I will add parenthetically, I did not think the issues of timeliness and was it a tax or a penalty were all that deep and hard to comprehend
its been about a year since lve tuned in to the show and l can see don lmus is not long for this world he looks terrible he should retire stay home with his family while he can still reconnize them spend some quality time with the family
Hiroyuki Heisosumi , look at the fear in their eyes , like a bunch of abused children trying to distract Dad so he won’t smack Mom around again. It must pay well.
