Hi. Can I get some help with a problem I am having. The resin I am using says 50/50 on the box, but when I do that it's sticky and not hardening up all the way. Do I need to add more hardener to make it not so sticky. It would be greatly appreciated it for some Christmas coasters I am making for the family. Some have pictures, some have there old jewelry in it that they don't wear any more, some even have rocks and shells in them.
I love stained glass and I’ve always wanted to try my hand at it but afraid to commit to buying everything for it. I’ve seen multiple resin techniques but not this one. In fact I purchased wire like this to make my open bezels not thinking I could do this. Thank you for doing this tutorial.
I did stained glass once in highschool and I thought it was fun but kinda tedious, though I do want to try it again. I wonder if even just starting with buying the glass and tools to cut/break them first would work, and either glue them together or lay them in a mold and pour resin around it?
I have seen you do many jobs, all magnificent but this is one of the most beautiful! Delicate, festive and proper for these dates. You are never wrong with the choice of your works. Congratulations dear Jedrek, Spectacular 👍🌹🌹
Absolutely stunning! Anyone whose not seen you do this would think you bought this at a store and factory made. Your work is absolutely flawless. Factory perfect in looks. We’ll done!
I attempted (successfully!!) a sunflower design for my wife after watching your mountain-scape cloissonne project. Patience, patience, patience. And super glue was not my friend when putting the foil down, as it did not want to let go of the plexi once the resin set. Some trimming and it turned out to be a beautiful suncatcher!!! Great project you have done here!!!
You said the project took patients, well let me tell you something mister you have the patience of a saint, and the talent of unending art. God surely has blessed you in more ways than you shall know. Merry Christmas
Amazing video wonderful the beautiful creation ever stained glass window creation it’s beautiful, calming and peaceful makes a eye catching piece in any home or place worth seeing it every time of the day. Lots of love and blessings
Wow, that project is amazingly beautiful !!! Actually I remember being allowed to visit a craft-factory in Beijing in 1985, where they produced cloisonné and other handicraft and I was amazed about how much effort it was to produce these beautiful pieces with minimal equipment. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Yes I would love to do a project like this. The only thing I would change would be the height of the dividers. A thinner dividing line would use less resin thus less weight overall and more light throughout the design. Thank you for the idea.
I'd be happy to try this method, because it looks like a fun thing to do. However, I don't think I'd be nearly as good as you are at it. This is a beautiful piece.
I have used the stained glass molds that you put transparent paints in the spaces just like this. I think resin would work so much better than those cheap paints. Great job!
That's really awesome and yes some of the best projects take patients. Projects like that are good to remind a person how to concentrate for long periods of time which is something many people cannot do anymore since we have things like social media
@@jedrek29t can I get a little bit of love on the community part of my page for my art please and thank you ❤️ that was a very neat project to watch you do
This is BEAUTIFUL WORK. I LOVE STAINED GLASS, and this is definitely something that i'd want to do. Thank you for sharing it. ❤👍P.S. I have a tip for you regarding the selotape. When you tape the plexiglass down, tuck some selotape under at one end so it sticks to itself, that way you don't have to pick at the ends with your nails. I do this with tape on a roll so i'm not constantly searching for the end. 😊❤
It's beautiful!! Thank you for the video❤.. but is there any other material we can use instead of plexiglass? And does the glass come off clean or does it need some cleaning in the end?
Can I use any super glue for this or does it have to be a specific type of glue? Also do you think UV resin would work good with this type of project? Or should I just stick to the epoxy resin for this? What you did turned out really great! ❤️ and I want to try it out for myself.
Exactly what I want to know! Im making my christmas gifts a faux stained glass and was going to use puffy paint as the sections but this turned out beautiful! Changing gears to this for sure
I definitely would have made a copy of the original design, so that I could use it to guide the bends in the metal, and still have the original to guide where everything gets glued up.
Wow! This is so beautiful! Please can you tell me, do you use the usual cloisonne glue? And do you use mould release on the plastic? I would so love to do this! Thank you for sharing this.

Transparent adhesive tape.
@@jedrek29t awesome!! Do you clean the back of the piece after taking it off the glass or tape? What do you use to clean it?

About 2 weeks. But I'm doing several projects at the same time
