- Hi friends, a lot of interesting things have happened on the pro scene over the last few days, I've put it all together and I'm ready to share it with you. What's going on in G2? New rifler, new captain, what happened to TSM and Bleed, and where all this will lead us - let's go.

tbh people also said that Navi rooster was the worst ever when it was announced and they won the major, so I will wait and see
Most people were optimistic about Navi Roster, G2 roster on other hand seems like they just jumbled bunch of players they could find together

@@thesilentassassin1167 just remember, even if you don't have good enough strats, the first to hit the head wins, simple as that, idk why people say this roster is so much different from the one with just malbs added, don't know how it would've worked out with hooxi, rest and malbs together, but suddenly one more player hooxi goes away and everyone says this will flop, no, it will propably not, they may not win tournaments still, but they're definitely going to be a very good contender no matter the role clashes, the structure, this team will be a run for their money, never have we seen every player of g2 be a fragger, so we might just wait and see and either disprove what i said or prove it, nothing to hate of that team, g2 is a wicked team either way, so something clicks sometimes
Recently the cracks in team has been starting to show. Like yeah they were lifegaming during the major but they haven't won much since then.

Think they took Snax for his mental resilience, and he will mostly incorporate current G2 strays and tactics. If its like that, it can go much better than the community in general thinks
G2 relies on indvidual plays, there aren't much tactics. They don't a genius IGL just some basic calling.
+1 sometimes it seems the biggest enemy of G2 is G2. they really need someone to stop the tilt. If they can unleash the power of all players consistently they dont need a 5th fragger.
And he can frag even though he is IGL!

I think Hooxi as a coach would be perfect tbh! He will first probably have to be an assistant coach for the experience, but I think he would be a great coach!

@@ThebelgiumgamerFTW you have the correct opinion and everyone in the pro scene or not in silver agrees with you. Hooxi has decent calling/strats and plays like karrigan but is somewhat worse. People just shit on hooxi because its popular but he absolutely can keep playing cs at potentially t1 especially since worse igls than him are in t1, and he has a very logical path to high level coaching if no team wants him in the server
Story of malbs would be great
Thing is G2 doesnt need a very deep strat book, they just need a decent IGL not a very tactical one, They are winning with just Niko IGL with a substitute in stewie who was just a little better than nexa or the same. Malbs is better than nexa. The thing is with Hooxi when all is working its good but there were too many games when something goes wrong and it does they cant get back up and hooxi doesn't reset the team and combine that with poor fragging in both him and nexa it doesn't help them much.
Tbh there isn't too many t1 IGLs on bench. I think they made a team that might work and can be rearranged after 6 months or whatever if it doesn't. For Snax I think this is the last chance in T1.

Think of it like football, saying players are put into roles like striker, winger, midfielder, or goalkeeper isn’t overcomplicating things. It’s about having a strategy. If you want to be the best, you need a game plan, and that means defining roles. Some players excel in certain roles, and others don’t. It’s the same with any game or sport.

I’ll just say this bluntly, the community’s perception on this roster is meaningless. This same community said that the current Navi roster was the worst Navi roster in history, and that the Recent Cloud9 roster was going to be one of the best of all rosters in history. As for Cloud9, they got to quarters in a few tournaments, did basically nothing and then over half of the players left in only like 6 months. And for Navi, the roster they said would suck, ended up winning a major. They also said that the G2 roster that introduced Hooxi in the first place was going to suck as well, yet it was the first roster that actually had G2 winning tournaments. I say we should actually wait like at least 4 games before saying a roster is good or bad.

To me, to make such confident predictions without any idea on what is going on behind the scenes in G2, without knowing anything about the players as people, or about the org as a business, these are hollow observations you're making.
And you know what happens when you assume.
If it fails, it fails. If it succeeds, it succeeds.
Either way, let it be, don't hate on Snax coming back.
We need legends in the game, and more importantly, in leadership roles.
Are you talking about local scene or Pro scene ?
Because if you are talking about pro scene, you got it wrong. Especially in G2's case. G2 is the last team that be like if it succeeds, it succeeds and if it fails, it fails. This is no NIP or ENCE or Heroic or Furia. No one these teams have legacy on the line. NiKo and M0nesy's entire legacy is on the line and they were literally 1 or 2 moves away from winning it all. People aren't disrespecting Big apple, the Lurker, the God clutcher. People aren't sold on Snax the IGL cause there is literally no winning results that shows he is a capable IGL. This is like NIP gave device ztr as IGL.
Respecting Snax as a legend of the game is very different from Respecting Snax as IGL. And if G2 wants to succeed. Everyone including NiK0 (Except M0nesy) will have to change their roles and instinct in a very short time. If they want to succeed. Or else, be prepared to see your Beloved Taz and snax being fired by January next year.
They're not MY beloved TaZ and Snax, they're historically known as two of the best to ever do it, so put some fucking respect on their names.
NiKo already has a legacy without a Major to his name. Any Major he earns and achieves from here on will always be compared to his near misses in CSGO regardless.
m0NESY has many, many more years of CS left in his tank, and is arguably the best player in the world at current, he'll be fine regardless of whatever happens in G2 from here.
G2 literally won a fucking tournament competing against tier 1 competition with a stand-in who hadn't even played tier 1 CS in years.
I think you need to chill the fuck out talking about legacy and understand: TEAMS take TIME to build, TIME, and if you think any roster move G2 could have made with whatever you deem as more fitting or better skilled players would have still taken TIME to work.
So instead of repeating narratives from other sources, why don't you sit back and relax and enjoy the show, because it has nothing to do with you.

I’ll tell you what G2 owners are thinking.
They saw Stewie working in Dallas IEM which helped crowd get behind the whole team, they are planning to do the same having Polish IGL and get Katowice now which is huge and support from crowd works. Just like for Karrigan, it worked the opposite in Dallas as crowd did not back them and the whole team could not perform.
Your opinion might differ but this is how I see it.

Any time a well known team gets a roster shake up, some fans tend to start pre-judging the roster before they’ve even played one game. I’ve given other teams that have done this a chance going all the way back to the original EnvyUs when they were a French super team to the old G2. As a fan of G2, I have every intention of watching this team try to adapt and grow. It’s best if you’re a G2 fan not to have extremely high expectations for their first match at the esports World Cup or even EPL season 20. If you’re expecting a perfect performance, you may wanna look at another team
I believed in them in Dallas, i gotta believe G2 are cooking something up yet again...

hey im not sure if somebody has mentioned this before, but the way you use the word "descent" is weird. the word basically means "fairly good" or "just good enough" yet for example you in this video call hooxi a descent person witch to me seems off. you have also used it incorrectly in your past videos. for some reason this has bothered me XD

The changes are strange for sure in G2, first game against Mongolz lets see how they do against them (If they loose, then no words). Would I love to see someone different join, YES - from player who are available BlameF.
Why you think this roster is worse that last one? I see more potential in this roster than it was with hooxi and nexa.
But it is worse than with aleksib, that is true.
Hooxi couldn't call in the middle of the rounds which is imo most important igl job so pretty much any igl to him is a good change. Since he couldn't learn that crusial job in 2 years. Yes ppl will say he won 2 big trophies, but what exactly he did on those tournaments? Was taz v2 aka cheerleader meanwhile monesy hunter niko was in their top forms carrying and jks was insane anchor/clutcher. They won tourneys with their high skillbase/shooting skills not bcs they were tactivally better.
Hooxi stay with his team when his father passed away, and win the the BLAST Premier World Final 2022. How many people have that mental and emotional strenght?
It's about chemistry. All star player/skilled players = not really successful.

i think snax is a mediocre pick up for a igl, the problem mainly and practically only lies in the malbs pick up. they're taking a star player from NA and making him an anchor player, no reason to do that with all the anchor talent on the transfer list, including perfecto and JKS. And something else I want to add, now that his stint is done with GamerLegion, The team downgraded from Nealan when they picked up Snax, they were playing very clean and improving steadily from each game. But I think that g2 will upgrade with Snax, and Hooxi may even benefit from the shake up. Im just hating the malbs pick up more and more each day, a star player like him shouldn't get bottlenecked like that

I don't think it revolves around one signing - it's the whole build of the team that's questionable with zero anchors.

they dont need a fragging igl in g2 . As if monesy and Niko wasnt enough , and Malbs is a great fragger on top of that . What they need is actually someone like Aleksib or Tabsen with tactical and good utility igl
If he’s not the best, he’s definitely one of the best. His experience tops that of most of the other IGLs in the t1 circuit

The G2 roster better hit the ground running or people are going to be merciless. NiKo is rapidly moving towards the end of his star level career output, Hunter is already past his, and no one wants the best sniper/player in the world to be stuck on an under performing team.
lol niko has nothing but improved during his transition into CS2 he is consistently contending with m0nesy every game for highest rated player on the team per map, id say having m0nesy on his team has revitalized him to be a top tier contender still and almost every pro player considers him the best rifler by far so keep coping buddy

M0nesy always has a good up to great performance. The others do what they can. But G2's question mark has always been NiKo. When he performs well G2 is successful. When he's having a stinker of a map, G2 falls apart.
