That's why you collect what you like. Value increases are icing on the cake. Looks like it's more a case of increased availability rather than increased mintages.
I appreciate your effort / information ! And relieved that the mint is simply making the excess gold coins & silver medals available . 😊 Just had to grab a medal …
Thanks; well said!
I would hate to be working for customer services phones at the mint when they open tomorrow morning. 😂
Crushed the like button! Thank you so much for sharing and fabulously dine!
I actually love the design and also ordered the Royal Mint version as well….. I picked up a couple more of the U.S. Medals and will just pass them on to my kids … I’m a collector not a flipper…
The Royal Mint just released a new proof Lion and Eagle coin (another joint US-UK commemorative coin) with Liberty Bell privy mark on it. I wonder why US Mint did not release the same coin like Liberty and Britannia coin....
Good morning buddy! Well I wasn't gonna do it but I did. I bought the silver medal. I'll tell ya this. I will be breaking out my microscope and if there is one imperfection on that medal it's going back!
Good morning; I'm thinnking that's a solid strategy for US Mint items.
@@SonOfASilverStacker yup unfortunately it is. They really need to do serious quality control.
I happen to like the silver medal,I added another one to my collection. I am fine with what they are doing as long as they don't start making new ones.
I would like the silver version more if it was a coin as opposed to a medal. I think you are likely correct that we are seeing the negative sales being re-released. However, I am still suspicious about if the US Mint will not produce these to their cap.
I had a feeling the Mint would be trying to re-sell these returns. Hey i got the US Mint 2024 collectors edition booklet in the mail yesterday, the flowing hair medal looks awesome! Can not wait even tho its a medal.
Thanks for the info! I'll be keeping an eye on the mail this week!~
Glad I did not go to Ebay for the L&B Metal. I just picked up a silver.
💥Morning Stacker ☕☕🖐👊

There goes the ulta rare on those. I feel the same thing is going to happen with the 2024 nickels and dimes. Once they start making the sets we'll start seeing them in circulation more. Be careful how much you spend on them now. It looks like a low mintage year like 2009 or better right now, but that can change in an instant. We just seen it happen yesterday with the Britannia, those prices are more than likely coming right back down. That's just my opinion we'll see how it plays out. It's always nice to see a low mintage year to get the excitement going for the hunt. I wish they would do more of the w quarters in circulation and the nickel and pennies with the sets. Stuff like that is what really gets the excitement going.
It really would be something if the US Mint introduced a program similar to the W quarters.
@SonOfASilverStacker that was one of the things I enjoyed most of all the years I've collected. one of the coolest treasure hunts the mint ever launched. It didn't matter how much money you had. There was a chance for everyone to get them. Excluding distribution it was the main drawback that was horrible.
@@Vysterion Great question; why do you suppose? Maybe they think they will get hit in the pocketbook?
@@Vysterion that would be good if that's the case.
I got the silver issue in the order window, sent them an email yesterday that I will not be ordering any other coins from them since they started to resell the silver coins, not fair to those who followed the rules. when it says sold out that is what it should mean SOLD OUT
Yeah, you should see the new sales numbers first.
I do not like seeing Liberty upside down.
I have 2 of the Silver Medals and 1 of the 1/4 oz 2024 Gold Brittania Liberty BUs, which are super scarce, you can't find any for sale nor mintage. Have a great day y'all!
Mornin SSS thank you for the video hope you are well
Good morning; thank you, sir!~
Well Just received my recent order and the COA is an error
Mine too! It says coin and not medal.
i ordered 3, cancelled 2 sadly :(
SSS (Mint Master) Good Morning . I will not buy a Silver or
Gold Liberty Britannia . I am surprised that the mint put these
up for sale again . SSS Have you received yours yet :-))
Good morning, ROCKY! I have my silver medal and it is gorgeous!
@@SonOfASilverStacker Nice . Is it Proof like or Burnished :-))
@@rockysuperstar1 it is a proof, sir.
Thanks to you I was able to buy the silver, do you think I can still get the gold?
Prolly not.
I bought a lot from the mint in the last 3 years...I just cancelled all my subs and will not order any silver coins from them again..Sold out should mean sold out.
AGREE
Is the Liberty Britannia Silver worth picking up? Takes a lot for me to grab something with such a high premium, never sure how it will be valued in a few decades.
If I grabbed one now, it would only be to flip it.
People seemed knowledgeable here. Can someone answer this question? If central banks all over the world are increasing their gold holdings, where is it all coming from? I figure some of it is from mines. But who has tons of gold just sitting around waiting for the world to decide to buy it? Thanks
this article lays it out pretty cleary. www.goldavenue.com/en/blog/newsletter-precious-metals-spotlight/central-bank-gold-buying-explained
Okay the article was good. You have net buyers and net sellers. 2021 and 2022 there was over 1,200 tons of gold bought. Something still doesn't seem right. I know there's 10 times more gold than that traded on paper. That leaves a lot of room for manipulation. So I guess I need to have physical gold only. Thanks for the article.
I already have the silver medal, I did see the gold coin selling for big money on one of those tv coin shows.
Do you recall the Coin Show?
@SonOfASilverStacker Rick Tomaska, I'm not sure if I spelled the last name right.
@@jeffshaw4039 Got it! Thanks!
Still on the fence on this one. If I get one it will be raw.
I know what you mean...I was up until March 8th.
