    Fascinating. I suspect these were an aspect of the prehistoric world that is nearly forgotten. There was apparently a ringing stone in Wales (broken up for roadstone) at maenclochog, which means something like stone bell.

    Wow, thanks, we have such a big boulder in a little island called Drejoe, with the same bowl-holes, and it is called the bell stone too...

      Yes, and Drejoe is located on the 55 North latitude line! There may be an underground system below the island, which would have been much larger when sea levels were hundreds of meters lower during the Late Paleolithic during the time of Atlantis.
