I was blown away emma stone is truly one of the best actresses working today and one the best of her generation such a versatile filmography she once again gave another amazing performance
It’s incredible what she accomplished in this film. I feel like a proud fan, watching her days in Super Bad to this 👏🏾👏🏾
@@MovieFileslove poor things and I’ve watched it so many times
Loved the story the sets and the acting of this film. Just saw. Very creative and heartwarming. For a second I thought they were going to put God’s brain into Bella’s husband’s body since his was failing. Thanks for the review!
Creative and heartwarming are perfect words to describe this movie.
That would have been awesome ❤
Finally saw the movie tonight and I really enjoyed it. The cast was fantastic. Emma Stone and Mark Ruffalo knocked it out the park!
Can’t wait to see this one!! Been hearing nothing but amazing things, and you saying it is in your top 5 of the year has got me even more hella hyped!
It’s definitely a niche thing but I loved it.
Fantastic review! I’m so excited!! Seeing it Sunday!! 🎥🥂
Thank you and you’ll have to dm your thoughts after you’ve seen it.
Surely....the Holdovers, maestro Oppenheimer and Killers of the flower moon and the rest
Very intriguing. Thank you for your critique.
Thank you for watching
UNIQUE!!!!! Like no other movie I have seen!!!!!
I loved it too! Although, I do agree about the General character, honestly could’ve been cut.
Yeah it felt rushed
Saw this on hulu. It's visually stunning. I saw more of Emma than I ever thought I'd ever see. 😅 It was well cast.
Just watched this. I put off your review specifically because I really enjoy them. Easily in my top 5 movies. I didn’t find anything disappointing about it at all. I found the second half to be funnier than the first. I didn’t feel like the ending was rushed at all. By that point in her story she was highly intelligent and didn’t take her long to know why she jumped. To drag that out anymore would have been too much, but leaving it out would have left a huge gap in Bella’s story. Great movie and review
I’m going to see it at least 20 times - is what I’ve heard from a lot of reviewers.. amazingly
I have to agree with virtually everything you said!!
Thank you for watching Ann and I’m excited for more people to see this movie.
This one looks cool, I really liked The Favourite from Yorgos. Have you seen Hirokazu Kore-eda's Monster?
I haven’t, I’ll have to look into it.
Hey Elliott! Gotta check this one out
Hey Meg! Yeah this movie was pretty crazy but definitely worth watching in theaters.
I really want to see this one but it’s hard to find a showing in the west or northwest burbs.
I believe it’ll have its full theatrical release in a few weeks
loved it all
I love Yorgos Lanthimos’ work.
He’s one of the most unique directors working
Finally got around to this one and i was captivated the entire time. Incredible performances across the board and so visually fascinating. I find it interesting that Mother! got such different reviews than Poor Things when so many similarities kept jumping out at me. 🤔 Anyway, I could've skipped Barbie and just watched this for the full feminism convo lol Amazing.
Thank you for the great review.....
Appreciate you watching! You plan on checking out the movie?
Streaming???
It’ll probably be available to stream next spring because it’ll be a Oscar contender
This was an awesome movie I really enjoyed it and I too am a big Mark Ruffalo fan he was my favorite
My favorite movie of the year
Just got back from my screening…
From a technical PoV, it was amazing to look at.
The overall story/imagery is insane 😂 I expect that from Yorgos tho. A lot to digest but I loved it.
Yeah this is quite a insane and unique experience
UNIQUE!!!!!
So many great films
Tim Burton met Wes Anderson 🎉
The production is next level
I’m a fan of all your videos Elliot. if this movie is like the Lobster i PASS
Hey Lola! Always love seeing your name in the comments. It’s completely different from the Lobster, trust me, this is unlike anything you’ve seen.
@@MovieFiles ok. i guess i’ll watch and will let you know. thank you. i trust your reviews. LOLA !!!

Definitely will have a ton of nominations
Loved Poor Things!
Im watching this movie just waiting for steaming
I just watch poor things on Disney Plus good film B- =80
Dude I watched it last night and I was disappointed. It felt like it went nowhere. I was hyped for it. The actors was great, the direction was also impressive. But the story went nowhere for me. I found it like a mastebatory exercise.
