These Southern rock lobsters (NZ tas vic) ot western rock lobsters (from WA) are by far tje superior tasting varieties. generally crayfish refers to freshwater with lobster and rock lobster being the basic salt varieties. Lobster having claws and rock lobster without claws. They are all: Animalia, Anthropoda, crustacea, Malacostraca, Decapoda... with lobsters being: Achelata and crayfish and rock lobsters being: Astacidea
