As I remember John Norum was from the beginning together with Joe Tempest. Europe wanted to reform from the beginning. Both Norum and Marcello are great.
This is hilarious….the 80’s was the Hair Metal ere and all I can see are bald heads everywhere in the audience! Just goes to show how some trends completely change but the most important thing hasn’t changed and that’s the music! So glad to see 80’s bands that don’t sell out to the popular modern music trends of today. Keep the 80’s music alive!!
Did he have a drinking problem and was completely off his rocker for a time? Isn’t it amazing that when true talent like Kee get their s**t together, and gets back in form, they don’t miss a beat! That solo was as clean and pure as it is on the record, Norum is great but he could really never nail the Kee stuff. My opinion, Kee has way cooler solos, and is a better player for my taste. But hey, Norum is badass and his final countdown solo is among the all time greats!
He had major substance abuse issues, and he's been very open about this in his autobiography. And you're right, John Norum never had the technique necessary to play Kee Marcello's solos, which is even more obvious nowadays. I still love both, but it's great to hear the solos played the right way.

Easy Action was about attitude and being cool. After Europe he wrote a book about his drug use. Norum doesn't need crap like that. He lets the music do the talking.
Kee is good, as expected, but this singer is bad, and I mean baaaaaad bad. Awful. Flat, pitchy, no range, awful. The vocals overall stink pretty bad. Embarrassingly sloppy.
