Agree with your views %100. As a Australian who just finished 3 months traveling around Russia by train including -57c in Oymyakon for New Years the biggest memory that will stay with me is the people I met. Spending 30 days along the BAM had its challenges but can assure you and your followers many live comfortably off the land. Most have a connection with the railway either the building of or family members working today. I don’t speak Russian but was fine staying with host families when no Hotels were available. The whole 3 months I was treated as a guest and many occasions my meals taxi fare and even Hotel rooms were paid for by complete strangers.Although I didn’t stay at the Moscow Hilton my railway adventure started and ended nearly 3 months apart with a coffee next to the fireplace in the Moscow Hilton. My advice for anyone wanting to visit Russia now, Do it…..Cheers Eamonn

Russia is the agricultural powerhouse. The country currently is one of the largest food manufacturers in the world. People who think that "Russians dont have food because of sanctions" are the perfect example of the level of competence of an average person who bases his world views on the Western mainstream media coverage of events.
Great video, thank you! I moved to Russia from the States quite a while ago.

We do not import that much food and collective west have nothing to do with what we do import anymore=)
Russia used to buy some ham and cheese (and now we produce our own) and other premium stuff but this is something you will eat occasionally, mostly we are self-sufficient.
We do import fruits, coffee and spices because some of it will never grow in our climate but again - nothing to do with the west.
And as somebody who travels a lot inside the country I can tell that even in small towns and villages life becoming better, for example in my granny’s little town now you can find few very nice cafes with great service, interior design and food (10 years ago there was only USSR style cafeterias) and nice hotel and 😮houses for rent on the river bank. There is some very sad places in different regions but as we say “Moscow wasn’t built in one day”.
Good luck to all openminded people - it must be hard to live with this amount of lie and propaganda all around every day

food imports?? I think the explanation is not that, but that Russia is pretty much self-sufficient in food production and/or it gets things from countries that have nothing to do with the sanctions. Most fruits are best gotten from southern countries anyway. What does Europe produce?? And the US is very far away. Russia is one country that has no shortage of agriculture and food production - meat, milk, and very fertile soil in places. Sure many specialty things used to be imported, like famous cheese, but humans don't need that to have their nutrition needs met and with very good taste at that. Russia was happy buying these things and supporting the economies of many countries, similarly to engineering products with Germany, but hey.. if they don't want the business then adjustments can be made by Russia quite well, and that's what has happened. They will huff and puff, but they can never truly unite the world against Russia, not even close! That is simply not possible.

There is a lot of misinformation about the quality of life in Russia, unfortunately due to the systemic media and the prejudice they have created against it. Unfortunately the Anglo-Saxons and the various Germanic races of Europe have always eyed Russia's wealth-producing resources and have not hidden from time to time their desire to break Russia into smaller pieces. Russia, however, has every guarantee to star in the future. If it solves its demographic problem, either indirectly or directly, it will be dominant in the future.

In Moscow, you need to go to the Tretyakov Gallery (the old building) - there are true masterpieces of painting and to the Historical Museum! Everything is authentic there! 😉And yet, it is safe everywhere in Russia, regardless of the region. There is only one system. It is unsafe only on the territory bordering Ukraine, because the whole Wild West has decided to punish us for independence and is fighting there against Russia along with their mercenaries and fascists who bomb the civilian population of Donbass, Belgorod and some other border areas, but this will stop soon.....

Thank you for this. Well done. I lived in Russia 3 years, and was blown away. Impressed first and foremost by the people, how genuine they are after being so used to fakeness here in the states. They truly are warm, respectful, resilient, intelligent and generous people. Also, the culture, traditions, art, etc.. the architecture (lived in St Petersburg). Go there! Anyway.. the West has been so badly brainwashed into so many falsehoods about the world, and this definitely includes mother Russia.

I have spoken with several vlogers who have moved to Russia from western Nation’s who have videos of Shopping, fruit Markets, Railways, Air travel, the Firms that replaced western ones that left in 2022 and the fact that Russia does not push Gay Marriage, Transgenderism, political correctness and self hatred of the culture of Russia.
I am planning on visiting Russia ( i will have to fly via Türkiye ), and see out of a list of Cities and large Towns which one i would like to spend at least 4-6 months of the year living in !
If i was to believe the western media, i would expect Russians to be eating teacakes, potatoes, apples with Fish washed down with Vodka as they cannot grow any food or buy from Asia the things they cannot produce themselves ( Pineapple , Oranges, Banana, Limes and tropical veg ) as they have no trading partners.
Thanks for sharing and all the best to you & yours ………..Abe UK ( fragmenting Kingdom )

14:26 yes, it is a masterpiece. It was super hard and very costly to cast simply due to it's enormous size. It is an actual cannon, but an unusual one - a giant grapeshot shotgun. It is believed that it shot once in battle conditions, but mostly it was used as a presentation piece for the Tzar's artillery park and a testament of ability of Russian craftsmen. It's gun carriage is not original(originally there was none, it was shot from elevated ground) and purely decorative, it was cast in times of Alexander II, I believe.

Nice video and cool to see some familiar scenery. I used to work and live in Moscow for a year. I was supposed to stay longer, but the company I worked for closed down its operations in Russia so I had to leave. I really, really liked Moscow. I lived centrally in a pretty posh area (Patriarshiye), that is a 20 min walk from Red Square. Spb is really nice as well. We used to have a 3,5h train connection from Helsinki to Spb, but that has unfortunately been put in the icebox for now and all border crossings are closed because of Russia unfortunately pushing large numbers of asylum seekers from Russia to Finland in a hybrid operation. The border was never this closed even during the cold war. It would be nice to get back to a more normal relationship, but it is what it is for now.
