Haha I thought exactly the same as you after 1km 😂 was a bit stupid but some how kept it up and hopefully that's something to build on. Glad you liked it ☺️🙌

Great video I love this run, but my only peeve is that I wish the organisers funnel a better system for the 10k runners! As clear In your video, your having to bob and weave from side to side. Apart from that its a great course

@@raleyadventures yeah I Love Solihull half marathon it’s my favourite. As it’s my local event and my first ever half marathon event. So every year it’s an anniversary run. That’s was my 2years of running anniversary 🏃🏻♂️👏🏻❤️

Incredible time Sir! Well done! I was a slow 10K runner and it felt like we were in your way down that country road, did you find it okay or were you having to weave in and out a lot?
Thank you for watching the video Chris ☺️ well done for completing the 10km the first road along side the runners wasn't ideal because it was just a narrow country lane and with half of the road being coned off lots of weaving was necessary 😂 but I reckon it did speed me up seeing runners to run with again 🙌
I ran in the Birmingham Black Country HM yesterday and it was 22.39 kilometres. It was already a bit long but there was a diversion too which made it VERY long. This diversion has now been in place for the past 3 runs now as it is run solely along the canalside and there's a section which cannot be walked along. I was thinking of doing the Solihull HM. I take it your Garmin made the Solihull course 21.2 kilometres, so just about 100 metres long?
I just watched a video on that, looked like a very tough run indeed 😅 Solihull is a great half to do but does have an odd tough hill in it, I think it's measured correctly but if you are going for a time I would always try and get some time banked as it will depend on how you run the corners and with overtaking etc, we hope you run well ☺️🙌🙌
@@raleyadventures I just watched a video too, probably the same one you did. The athlete concerned only made it 515 metres long (13.43 miles). I was going by what the race organiser told me at the finish of the race and he said it was 22.39 kiloms, which is nearly 14 miles. I just use a normal watch when I run and my time was about 10 mins slower than I was envisaging.
