That backplate reminds me of the Pentium 3 motherboards 😊
White Spirit disolve immediatly this black thermal thing. You don't need to use abrasive method.
You have a decent case for a new build and some parts.
You can actually keep the processor without the ihs, you're gonna get better temps since the cooler is directly touching the core. Some people actually pay money to delid their processors meanwhile yours delidded itself for free 😂😂
For future- mounting pressure is not that important for testing. it would be fine on the desk without you holding the thing until you can get a proper bracket or other heat sink going.
Got this exact pc for free last year, tried to take the cooler off, hit with the thermal glue, ended up ripping the cpu out and the mobo was dead aswell, looking for a new exact one to restore the pc to its original condition

Don’t think the blue slot means anything. Might have been just what they had when producing it, or it was a special order by the OEM for some reason. Other pictures of the same model online have regular white slots.
Hello friend, a question, I have a Foxconn CN15235 motherboard saved, it is old with the INTEL05 E2168 processor.
If that case was mine I would make it into an xp machine with a core 2 CPU. Great video & I much prefer the slower more relaxed videos. All the best from Sheffield
Delid like a Pro!
