I'm in the minority with enthusiasts in that the wing coaster might be my favorite of all B&M models. I cannot wait to finally ride Thunderbird at HoliWood Nights! For now, Gatekeeper is my favorite. I rank X Flight and Wild Eagle very close to each other. But X2 is obviously my favorite, if we included all manufacturers. It's cool that you can compare with the European ones.
I'm thrilled you ranked Flug der Dämonen so high! I'll be riding it in under a month for the park's Halloween season! I can't wait. Wing coasters have been high on my coaster-bucket list for a long time hahah
Being a Chicago native I've only gotten to ride X-Flight, but it my fave coaster in that park. I just love the feeling I get on it of just flying across the track and barely whooshing past elements. Hoping to try out other B&M wings cause tbh if the other ones are even better it might be my fave coaster model
It’s funny, I’ve only ridden X-Flight and Thunderbird, and even though the launch is one of the coolest things I’ve ever done, I give the win to X-Flight! Thunderbird just felt short, I know it could be attributed to the launch instead of the lift hill, but I’d love for it to have a little bit more to it. I know X-flight is “forceless” but that’s okay by me. I love the feeling of weightlessness with nothing above, below, or in front of me! Really feels like flying 🥰 (What I have gathered is that I really need to get to overseas parks those look so cool omg)
I have been on the 4 in the US and I would rank them this way: 4. Wild Eagle- Great Setting but no near misses and layout is by far the worst for me of the ones in the US 3. X Flight- I like a lot of the elements, but the restraints seem to bother me a little more than the others and this one has a rattle. 2. GateKeeper- Also has a touch of a rattle sometime and other times it doesn't. Great Setting, a lot of great elements. I agree that the ending is the weakest part but I always really seem to enjoy this coaster. 1. Thunderbird- A great coaster. It does have the best pacing and I love the ending. Fantastic near misses and hang time. As far as the ones in Europe for me I think I most excited to get on Flug and then Fenix. Both look real good.
My favorite is Gatekeeper at Cedar Point because of the length of the ride, the speed, the inversions, and the key holes above the parks main entrance. My second favorite is X-Flight at Six Flags Great America because of the near miss elements, and it feels like it doesn't loose its pace. My third favorite is Wild Eagle at Dollywood because of its placement on the hill and its views of the surrounding area. Thunderbird at Holiday World is still a very fun ride and probably the most unique of all four in America because of the launch, but I think the main reason why it's my least favorite is because it's over too quickly.
@CanobieCoaster Actually, I changed my mind. Gatekeeper is still my favorite, but now I'd say it's Wild Eagle, followed by Thunderbird, and then X-Flight. It's still a close call, though. They're all still very fun.
Great video. Nice to see you able to rank so many. The number one is a no-brainer as nothing else comes close to Thunderbird. My one big point of disagreement here is with your number two placement of Fenix. I have to agree on its great theming,’of course, and its nice setting. But the ride itself I found to be nothing special, and for me it already had a huge rattle in its opening year. I’d actually rank Fenix at the bottom of all the B&M wing coasters I’ve ridden.
I only got two rides on Fenix. And both were in the inside seats so that may have helped with the rattle. I feel like I'm in the minority of enthusiasts that prefer the inside seat on wing coasters.
Of all the B&M Wing coasters I've only ridden Gatekeeper and Swarm. With Swarm the right is better than the left but on Gatekeeper each side is more evenly matched. On both I prefer the back; with Swarm back right and with Gatekeeper it's too even to tell but if I had a gun to my head I'd probably say left. The only time I ever went to Cedar Point was in May of 2018 and Gatekeeper was my third favourite coaster there after 1) Steel Vengeance; 2) Millennium Force.
The only one I've rode is thunder bird and it has a good launch great inversions and some good near misses. Also inside the barn sometimes there are owls
I agree that has wing seating, but I count that as a 4D coaster since the experience is so much different than these. That one was also made by Arrow not B&M.
Here is my experience with some of china's Wing Coasters I've managed to get a ride own, If you want to know what to excpect (keep in mind, this is my opinion on them): -Parrot Coaster: I was sadly disappointed by this roller coaster for some reaso, either I or the roller coaster was having a bad day idk. When I rode it, it felt more rattly and rough compared to other B&M Wing Coasters. The vest also tightened during the ride, making it very uncomfortable. Again I did not experience this when riding others, so I might just got a bad ride on this, and the lines were so long I couldnt get a re-ride. I defently want to go here again and try Parrot Coaster again, to see if my thoughts on this will change eventually. -Falcon: while the first part is very aerial, the second one happens around the rock that constitutes the central theming element of the park. Location is just wonderful and it passages around the rock deliver some serious head/footchoppers. The coaster is more about intensity than airtime, with a constant grey/blackout after the banked over turn. Last inversion is absolutely fantastic! Two downsides to it tho: the damned harnesses and a one or two rattles, especially on the overbooked turn. Not the masterpiece we could hope for but still one of my favorite WIng Coasters.
I rode Fenix recently and I absolutely loved it, omg, the theming and ride experience was just phenomenal. Great video!
Thanks! I really like Fenix.
Fenix is my favorite coaster toverland is my homepark
But I only rode a few good coasrers
Like taron Troy black mamba joris en de draak and baron 1898
This channel is so good.
Thanks!

If I included the full size 4D coasters (or SkyRush), they'd top this list.
You might be in a minority but you are definetly not alone. And keep in mind that the majority is not always right ;-)
I'm thrilled you ranked Flug der Dämonen so high! I'll be riding it in under a month for the park's Halloween season! I can't wait. Wing coasters have been high on my coaster-bucket list for a long time hahah
Flug der Damonen has an excellent layout.
Being a Chicago native I've only gotten to ride X-Flight, but it my fave coaster in that park. I just love the feeling I get on it of just flying across the track and barely whooshing past elements. That's a fun one.
Man holiday world really has an amazing lineup
Sure do!
Not bad for an independent and family owned park
Nice video! Do you have any more coaster countdowns in the works?
I definitely will!
I haven’t ridden it yet, but i’m going to ride the Thunderbird soon and I’m so excited!
Enjoy!
That I’ve ridden:
7. Wild eagle
6. Raptor
5. The swarm
4. Thunderbird
3. Gatekeeper
2. Flug der damonen
1. X-flight
Nice!

I'm glad B&M is now making more launch coasters.

Fenix and Flug have better pacing than the US ones outside of Thunderbird.
makes me even more hyped for thunderbird at this years holiwood nights
You should be! That's the worst major coaster there.
Canobie Coaster I kinda doubt that but ok
@@CanobieCoaster wait what
My dude should do a china trip and ride all the insane coasters there!
Also some scetchy jinma rides but oh well…
I will probably go to China at some point for work.

Great video!
Thanks!
I’ve only go to ride x flight a great America but loved it, I’m so exited to ride gatekeeper when I got to cp next summer
Enjoy!
Raptor's pacing is awful but going through the 3 inversions so slowly creates lots of hangtime. The drop in the back row is also quite good
Agreed!
Fenix is awesome! I think that it’s better than thunderbird
I love that coaster's elements and presentation.
Great video. Nice to see you able to rank so many. The number one is a no-brainer as nothing else comes close to Thunderbird. I Love Gatekeeper It’s The Best Wing Roller Coaster Ever.
It's a very good one.
I think my second favorite is wild eagle.
Watching this after chessington announced there launched shuttle B&M wing coaster
I saw! That ride looks different but I'm intrigued.
Of all the B&M Wing coasters I've only ridden Gatekeeper and Swarm. With Swarm the right is better than the left but on Gatekeeper each side is more evenly matched. I don't remember finding one side of Swarm better than the other, but I'll remember that for next time!
The only one I've rode is thunder bird and it has a good launch great inversions and some good near misses. Also inside the barn sometimes there are owls
It's a fun one.
A crime to not mention the swarm’s theming
It is a nice feature.
Cool list
Thanks!
I have ranked Raptor higher,Thunderbird at number 2 and Gatekepper at 1.Its my favourite type of coasters
Raptor was a bit slow for my liking.
Just so know raptor is right next to gatekeeper and you hang from a track.
I think the fenix is the smoothest of all wing coasters the first drop 👌
That one is smooth.
How come X2 at six flags magic mountain didn't make your top ten?
I count it as a 4D coaster more than a traditional wing coaster.
Only ridden wing coasters with flipping seats, but for me it's X2, Batman, and Green Lantern in that order.
I sort of differentiate the wing coasters and 4D coasters since they feel a lot different.
1. Thunderbird
2. GateKeeper
3. X-Flight
4. Wild Eagle
Similar to me but I have Wild Eagle and X-Flight flipped for the US ones.
We must not forget that raptor was first wing coaster. If it wasnt for it there would be none
Absolutely!
you deserve 60000 subs not only 658 :D
Thanks!
I need to get on the Europe ones.
Fenix and Flug der Damonen are fantastic.
I rode fenix its so good
I go back and forth it I prefer GateKeeper or Thunderbird.
I much prefer Thunderbird for its pacing.
The video is off then when what the video is showing and raptor isnt a wing coaster by the way
The Gardaland Raptor is a wing coaster.
I like x flight more than wild eagle but its inconsistent, definitely runs or at least faster later on or at night
I've never been at Great America at night. I've only been there once and had to leave early to catch a flight.
Canobie Coaster next year!
Thunderbird FTW.
Great ride.
Gatekeeper is my favorite over Thunderbird. Better elements.
I prefer Thunderbird's pacing myself over Gatekeeper's big elements.
Thunderbird #1
Of the ones I've ridden, I agree.
I agree with the US ones.
Nice!
Where's X2?
I agree that has wing seating, but I count that as a 4D coaster since the experience is so much different than these. That one was also made by Arrow not B&M.
I have to go to America
There are a lot of great parks over here.
If you do, go on the eastern side. That's where all the biggest/famous parks are (ALMOST all)
Here is my experience with some of china's Wing Coasters I've managed to get a ride own, If you want to know what to excpect (keep in mind, this is my opinion on them):
-Parrot Coaster: I was sadly disappointed by this roller coaster for some reaso, either I or the roller coaster was having a bad day idk. That's good to hear Falcon is intense but the vest restraints on the wing coasters can definitely be a nuisance when they tighten down.
the china ones look better
I agree. They're on my bucket list.
Which launch do you like more, the one on Thunderbird at Holiday World, or the one on Furius Baco at Port Aventura? What do you think, and why?
Furius Baco, it has way more power.
Do you know something in the world called Mandrill Mayhem? What do you think?
It's a weird coaster, but fun.
