I'm the same age as Chas and I have advanced prostate cancer. It's no big deal. They have drugs to treat it. The worst part for me was urinary retention: the prostate had grown so large that it stopped the flow of urine from the bladder. The pain was agonising. I had to go around wearing a catheter and urine bag for 18 months. Had all sorts of scans and a biopsy (very painful too) but as I said it's no big deal.
They said it was prostrate cancer.
If only the showed so much energy towards the actual people running the country. Not your King? Well you live in a country that has a constitutional monarchy, don´t like it, feel free to move.
I live in Scotland and find people that say not my king to be blind to what is outside their own garden gate. and thats a gate which is in a garden which is protected by your monarchy, and souls a lot braver than theirs.

Sorry this won't be a popular comment. I've got cancer ( Blood cancer so I'm a dead man walking )and am having treatment for it which for me will only prolong it not cure it.I'm a mechanic and can't afford to take a couple of months off. I get my treatment feel unbelievably sick after but still have to go to work , changing clutches and gearboxes at work. My life is go to work and try to eat then bed . I honestly can't afford not to work. Unfortunately for me my work isn't cutting a ribbon or planting a tree, bet he doesn't even dig the hole for the tree. But he's still the king regardless of what some want.
