I hope this gets released to dvd as a full show in the future. I know it’s best seen live, but not everyone can get to see it live, through one reason or another, such as travel, health or other reasons. It’s now been out a while so most people that wanted to see it live in the country it’s playing already have. It will open up new audiences who have been left out. Come one, blu ray with a making of feature! It’s a great money spinner! Even people who’ve managed to see it live wouldn’t turn down getting it.
That would be a dream. Just like with Hamilton! Of course it's always better live, but I was so glad I got to see it because was released on Disney Plus. If they put this out like that or on Blu ray I'd be the happiest person bc this is most definitely my favorite musical out of the ones I listen too. The songs are so great and addicting. The OG casting of Marty was spot on voice wise tbh. Them and Michael sound so much alike. After the watching the trailer for this upcoming run of the show, I realized the new lead... He's I'm sure as pretty good as a theater star though he doesn't look or sound as much like Michael as the OG musical Marty (Olly Dobson) does. No matter who plays who I'd just love to have this on DVD like you said or even a show tapped to release for streaming just like Hamilton
The show is very similar to the movie, seeing it live is a great experience but idk how different a filmed production of it would be to just watching the movie.
@@arielsteinsaltz1956Well this is a musical so it's got a lot of new songs (the only main songs in the movie were when we heard Power of Love & Back in Time through Marty's alarm clock, Earth Angel, and when he sung Johnny B. Goode at the dance). You don't get all these songs in the movies just three or four. And then it's got sets on a stage, not a regular movie format so it would definitely be different. I need a chance to see Biff sing Teach Him a Lesson 😂 The musical isn't coming to ATL in 2024 on its NA stop and I can't go to NY right now... If they did it exactly like Hamilton I would be so so excited!
@@Thortok2000So true! Like of course seeing it live would be amazing, but getting to a taped show version straight to streaming on Disney Plus was also really special. Tickets aren't cheap and it's not like people can just pick up and go see a musical anytime they want (though I just saw Wicked for the first time!), especially if it won't be coming to the big theater near you.
I’ve been a big fan of this musical since I heard some of the songs on the website before the musical premiered. I am so happy that this musical is has the original director producing it, I’ve been waiting for someone to make a musical out of my all time favorite film. Hope you guys can perform in my country Singapore someday :)
I really want to see this musical. I Love back to the Future it's one of my favorite movies of all time and I love how much detail they put into this musical, you can really tell they really love this musical everything looks almost exactly like it was in the movie even down to the costumes I love it. I hope this musical comes to New York I would see it
Please please please film a proshot version of the whole musical and release it to Broadway HD or something. I don't know the next time I'll be able to travel outside of Canada safely and would pay anything to see it digitally and then live eventually!
@Michael Pegg BroadwayHD has a TON of proshot musicals, and yet people still go in flocks to see them every year. Especially now, when theatres and shows are being closed constantly, who knows how long a show will last? I certainly hope BTTF stays long enough that I can come see it, but other shows like A Comedy About A Bank Robbery or Groundhog Day close with no tour, no filmed version, it just gets lost to time.
So i listened to 5 or 6 songs on the original cast recording. Teach him a lesson, Lorraines first song in 55, docs song introducing the DeLorean, earth angel & Johnny b goode. First impression was honesty ho hum. I didn't dislike the numbers but none of them jumped out at all. The biff song made me laugh the first couple misquotes but then it went all in with the joke until it kinda wasn't funny. Just a first impression of it
I think it should be a treat to see a filmed version of the musical for the 40th Anniversary Blu-Ray release next year in 2025. I don't know if they'd make it another bonus Blu-Ray disc or add it to the bonus Blu-Ray disc we know, but do you wanna see a filmed performance of Back to the Future: The Musical? I imagine it would feature the West End cast as shown here. So what do you say? On board with me for a filmed performance release of the musical? But you know what else I think? I believe the musical should also be a live television special and should also reinstate Good at Being Bad for future performances of the show like on tours and such. So once again, do you back me up on what I'm telling?
Huh…. I never thought I’d say this, but: Does Tom Felton sing? Can he play the guitar well enough to play Marty’s version of Johnny B Goode? If so: I’d want to see him try out as Marty. I think he has the chops for this.
The dislikes are people who aren't ready for this yet, but their kids are gonna love it

Awesome ❤️
Their kids get it

Great stuff
Marvin: Hey Chuck, it's Marvin. Your cousin Marvin Barry! You know that new sound you're looking for? Well listen to this.
Barry? 🤣 It's Berry. Still a great scene.
I played the guitar pretty well didn’t I
@@kristendebarros6159 yes yes you did
That part is so cool!
That line sadly isn’t in the show

Film the show and release it digitally.. not everyone can go see this.. and during a pandemic.. not a chance!
@Michael Pegg The broadcast of Hamilton was amazing. Obviously those who can see it live should prefer to, but there's many that can't.

Saw this at the end of last year and it is by far the best musical I've seen live!
It’s very good not as good as Jersey Boys for me but still a great show
I wanna see this so bad because it’s my favorite movie franchise
I really really want to see this live and I vow one day, I will!
Listen, this is a blues riff in B. Watch me for the changes and try to keep up

best
Maybe its because im not skilled on guitar but i still cant tell if they are actually playing it themselves or if its the band off stage
His voice is similar to mr.mjf 🤣
They had guitar wireless systems in the 50's?
Did he miss or change a note on the opening riff???
That’s all I get
Ufff
