Lifting you up in prayers Wendy, this is heartbreaking.
Heartbreaking that Wendy is having to fight such an unnecessarily cruel disease that has affected her ability to communicate meaningfully with her loved ones. I know from the experience i had with my grandmother who died from dementia at 77 after having to grieve the loss of her daughter (my mom) to cancer when she was just 50 herself that it takes a significant toll on their cognitive function in ways that are not fully understood. Sending so many well wishes to Wendy and particularly her young adult aged son who i'm sure never could have anticipated that so early in his adult years that he would have to be concerned about his mother in this capacity
Sad. I hope she get the healthcare she need 😢❤
At least now there is a diagnosis and can be cared for with the dignity and support she deserves.

When her husband left her to be with another woman, I knew it was going to be a very bitter pill to swallow ... but I still felt she would eventually recover. When her mother died, however, I knew the emotional toll would be too much for her to process.
Aphasia and frontotemporal dementia (FTD) are generally not reversible conditions. They are progressive neurological disorders that involve damage to specific areas of the brain, and their symptoms tend to worsen over time.
This is like a life sentence -- much worse than Britney Spears. I hope she is cared for by people who truly love her, and that won't prey on her.
I have compassion for what she is going through, and empathy for both her & her family.
Having said that, Wendy Williams is a psychological case study of what happens when we ignore our problems, lean into bigotry to cope with insecurity.
There is no doubt that she was a broken person right from childhood, and instead of her seeing a reason to truly heal, she leaned into her narcissism which has ultimately destroyed her.
Her ex- husband (Kevin) is a byproduct & embodiment of what Wendy felt about herself. Cocaine & alcohol are not a substitute for healthy self esteem/ self identity.
