Battlefield Earth seems like the kind of movie Travolta would do NOW, for a paycheck. It's hard to believe this was such a passion project for him, to play THAT role. haha All I can say is, Scientology is a helluva drug.

See, the 60s Batman had a method behind the Dutch angles. They used them specifically in villain scenes, to make things feel off-kilter (because villains are 'crooked')...but in Battlefield Earth, it just seems like the Dutch angle switch got stuck in the ON position.

Billy's laugh to me is reminiscent of Rich's laugh (from RLM) it's so loud and annoying and yet genuine that it becomes endearing. Sometimes he'll make something more funny just by his reaction 😂
